My boyfriend and I got in a small argument this weekend. When we were speaking he said some hurtful things. I hate how when he's angry he will say mean things just to spite me. Why do guys do that? Or why is it when it's their fault, they turn the tables around and make us feel guilty about it? Men...sometimes they just aggitate me. I hate double standards!!!

I asked this question b4. I found out the reason behind it after talking 2 him. He's White,Catholic & lives with his parents. I am East Indian, 34 & Catholic. He's been living with them most his adult life. About 2 & half years ago he found a steady job. Before that he's been going 2 school & working off & on. So he wasn't able 2 pay rent to them. Now he takes care of some of their bills & even bought them a brand new car when they already had a car. He does alot of work around the house for them. Since he travels alot for his work sometimes his dad pays his bills & deposits his paycheck when he's away. So he has their name on his account. When this became an issue & I asked him about it & he said it's been that way for years & why should he change it now & Bank will screw up if he tries to change it. Now he says he will not put money in that acct after we get married. He said when his folks got 2 AZ for winter he will pay their bills. He said his mail will still go 2 their home.

How tough is a divorce when there are two young children involved?

After being married to someone for awhile and you have children, you tend to get lost in everything else you have to do and forget about fun times with your spouse - what are some ideas of activities that we can do together to get to know one another all over again?

Why do we call a place where you eat out, a "restaurant"? My five-year old needs to know how come it is called "restaurant". She adds: "Maybe it is because you are not allowed to burp in there?" Any serious replies will be thankfully forwarded.

I have a guy friend whom I have been friends with for years, and liked him for a lot of the time.
The problem is there is a girl he likes that has been putting through hell. He says he loves her, and wants it to work out.
He is smart and stupid at the same time.
I have been giving him common sense advice, but seeing him this upset hurts me, what should I do?

Last night I was super horney and I ran into a perfect stranger as he was moving into the appt above mine and I just went crazy, unzipping him within 30 seconds and dragging him into my place where we f**ked until noon today. I've never done this before. I just confessed to my best girl friend and she replied she has had "immediate zipless f**ks" a few times. Have you? Is it common? Honesty please, no moralizing.

....of being taken advantage of, mistreated, etc?
I have a firmly held belief that nice guys have been treated worse in dating scenarios than any other group for the last 15 or so years.
I'm not interested in becoming more of a jerk. I refuse to become a player or hurt them before they hurt me, etc.
I'm 35, and my ex-wife totally took advantage of me being a "nice guy." She was 36, so at least in my situation, higher age wasn't a safeguard, although I think it usually is.
Basically, I have almost no tolerance left for this tendency of some of today's women.

My partner and I have been together for about 6years. We split up for about 8 months last year and he started to see a girl from work more or less straight away for about 8 weeks. We have since got back together but i am having bad trust issues. We have a 4 year old son together and I would like things to work out. The only problem is he still works with this girl and plenty of others and when we had an argument the other night he mentioned 4 possible people that fancied him. I also checked his phone which i know is wrong but any recent messages have been deleted. I cant seem to pull myself together and find myself getting more concerned that there is something going on. Mostly im scared of humiliating myself. He says he loves me.

My sophmore year, I went out with this guy for two months. Made out and fooled around on the phone, nothing more. We had a messy brake up and I still had feelings for him. I thought that I was in love with him. (I still to this day dont know if I was or not)

So, during the end of our sophmore year, we were off and on friends. Then he went out with a really good friend of mine and we stopped talking.

My whole junior year, I got butterflies when I saw him walking through the halls.

One day, I text messaged him and we now have become friends. So yesterday we went to lunch. I was the most shy I have ever been around him. I was really quite and nervous. I could practially tell this guy anything right now, but I was just not myself at all yesterday.

I told him that I was kinda dissapointed that I was shy and he said that I would get over it, but I dont know. I think that since we have been talking, feelings have come up.

Why was I shy? I need some advice other then friends.

almost a year ago, the anniversary is Monday, Sept. 11th oddly enough, I lost a very dear friend of mine, he passed away while I was away for the hurricane. Well lately I have been feeling horrible, and having the shakes, and just having this wierd nervous feeling. I have dealt with his death I think, I do think about him still and talk to him, but could something be going on with my sub-concious because the anniversary is coming up?? I feel fine mentally just physiccal, feels like something is iffy. Just wondering if anyone else thats been through a loss has had this.

My girlfriend and I have been together for a while. Recently (two months ago) our relationship turned into a long distance one for an indefinite period of time due to our jobs. Things (in my eyes) had been going great. I’m proud of her, and I have no problem trusting her. However, recently, she said she does not want an exclusive relationship because our time apart is indefinite and we are not married. But she still wants to develop our relationship and be together when she comes back. Although it hurts, I know I have to let her go, but I don’t think I can still develop our relationship. If I am to let her go, I have to put it behind me and not allow myself to hope for a relationship in the future. I know this from experience. Previously I spent way too much time (years) waiting on a relationship that was over, and it caused me a lot of heartache and wasted time. I don’t want to do that to myself again. I really do love this woman and thought I might marry her when she got back. I know a complete end to our romantic relationship is not what she wants, but I know it’s the only way I can let us be non-exclusive. Should I let her date other people while still developing our relationship, or should I make a clean break and put it behind me completely?

I'm going through a really tough time with my boyfriend. He cheated and now he says he'll change. We've really talked about this, a lot. And I thought we could make it work... now, I find out after he promised not to drink for a while that he went and drank and tried to pay chiks to flash him. Is that not the most pethedic thing?? And I love him so much and he doesn't get home from work until 5. Is this worth saving? I really really love him, if he wants to work on the relationship, I'm willing to give him another chance. I'm telling him we're going on a break but should I end it? And what if I do? We are living together and we've been together for 3 and 1/2 years. This is the love of my life, I don't want ot loose him because of a rough patch in the relationship. Any suggestions other than dump him and forget him? I'm so confused, I don't know what to do. I'm really loosing it.
