Typically the man, but if since this isn't going to be a surprise proposal, it doesn't matter as much. You can go shopping together even. Bu the bill is a hard one. If yer future hubby is a a little tight on money, then you could go in on it together. Usually for marriages, its the bride and the brides family who pay for the wedding and the groom who pays for the honeymoon and the ring. It usually end s up that way being pretty even.
