I often overanalyze stuff. Like: what would be my future with her, will she be lazy, will she bring me a lot problems.. those kind of stuff. I am dating someone right now and the more I get to know her, the more questions I accrue. Like I found out that she stopped school and is not planning to go school soon. For me, that shows laziness and lack of direction in life. She is also not outgoing and she is shy who is like me which I don't like because I think I would like an outgoing person. Sometimes I think that I would just break her heart if we ever have a deeper relationship and I hate doing that. I did it once and I still feel guilty even now. Do you guys ever overthink sometimes like me? Overthinking often tends to make my mind wishy washy about going into relationships. I often create scenarios in my mind like ah she is such a tease and would cheat on me or ah this girl spends too much.. I don't want to be working all for her.. those kinds of stuff. Do you do that?

One of them is more quiet and doesn't have much emotion He also gives up on me a lot if something goes wrong, he is very nice and respectable but cheated on me..I feel like my love for him is fake..The other one is outspoken and will ride wit me through anything he tells me whats on his mind and loves me to death and i can tell its real love... but we had problems in the past with cheating and him stealing from me...I forgave him and my love for him is so strong in my heart I can feel it..its amazing...I feel like I should give the first one a chance but I'm so deeply in love with the other..What should I do?

Like he abuses her verbally and wouldn't let her sleep in the same bed with him just because she snores(which she doesn't) so she has to sleep on the floor with a mat, because the couch hurts her back. Ugh I just want him dead sometimes!

Two weeks ago my boyfriend of a year told me (though not straight out) that he didn't love me and he was never getting married and he just thought I should know so that I could make a decision. He said we could still date or be friends. I chose to be friends.

He has started calling again this week; but I have not returned the calls because he did not leave a message and when we broke up he was very annoyed and insulting to me because I was crying and did not know what to say.

I have had some time to re-coup now; and I do not want to date him again. But I am still hurt and miss him and feel that I need some more time before I can just casually chat with him.

If he's calling for a specific purpose (like to get some of his things back) that's fine. I am happy to oblige. But I am not ready to act like nothing happened yet and that we are pals. And I'm not sure that I should. And I really don't feel like being talked down to right now as I'm just trying get on with my life.

I met the guy of my dreams (or so i thought) when I was about to get married. At that time I had been through many bad relationships and believed the person I was going to marry was the one for me. But then this other guy came along and even though i never wanted it, I got into a relationship with him. I couldnt stop my marriage from happening and I thought somehow it wud work..but it never did. I could never forget the guy I had an affair with. I want to forget about him because it is ruining my marriage, and because I know I probably dont have any future with him. But i cant forget him no matter how hard I try. I dont know what to do in order to forget the other guy so that I can make my marriage better. He is always on my mind 24/7 and I have tried so hard not to think of him. I dont know what to do to forget him.

Guy #1: He is taller than me, atheletic and enjoys everything i enjoy. He also lives i the same town as me and his cousin live acroos the street from me and the only reason why he visits his cousin is to see me. I see him almost everyday but the thing is he says how much he loves me but he takes it way to far. He is a workaholic but doesn't finish anything and he is divorced with children and an ex-wife who uses them to control his life. He's been divorced-so he says-6 years and this has been on going. We also live in different towns and I know nothing about him except what he tells me. He can't take me to his town because of the ex and kid situation. We've been together 5 months--dates are sporatic because of work and kid weekends and almost all dates he's at minimum 1 hour late ususally more. He calls me several times a day and every night before bed. He's already telling me he loves me and wants a futureafter telling me his ex ran-off his last girlfriend via turning the kids against him?I asked him not to make plans he wasn't sure he could keep. We also agreed on one whole day together on non-kid weekends. On our last due weekend I find out on Thursday he has plans for work and kids all weekend. I was wondering about something. If you are over 40 and seeing someone, how do you refer to that person? Do you say boyfriend/girlfriend? That sounds kind of high school to me. I really hate "significant other". It sounds to PC.
