u see i was in love with this guy before he went to prison and we were talking about getting married before he got his time. so when he did get his time he talk to me and wanted me to marry him while he was in there. so my question is would you marry someone that is in prison and have 3years and 6 months to go.And he won't be home till Jan 2009. we have a situation with my five year old step daughter. Her mom's boyfriend has been hitting her and we have been told that we can file for an emergency order of protection for her. The mother will not give us his info. Here is what we do know: he attended school in Dexter MO, he is 29 years old, appox. 5'8", aprox. 165 pounds, first name Jason, red hair, short haircut, I think he would have graduated from school between 1994-1995. My 62 year old Mom died in April 2006. My Dad announced he had a lady-friend in July 2006 (3 1/2 mos. later). My brother and I don't know how to take this news. We think it is too soon and disrespectful to my mom's memory, etc... It appears this relationship he has is getting more and more serious. How should we react? I need feedback. My BF talks about engagement rings here and there. Usually when we are in the car and it's not really expected. He often asks things like what shape diamond I like, what type of metal I like, etc. Would it be in bad taste to go to adiamondisforever.com and send him pictures of those I might like? I'm pretty simple in taste and honestly, I could care less if there were a diamond at all but I'd rather wear no ring at all than wear something I didn't like. Am I being stupid about this?
