It's different for all children. Most usually start saying words like, "da da" or "ma ma" around age 10 months to 1 year, and then gradually pick up on more words. Usually be age 2 or 2 1/2 they speak in complete sentences.

all babies are diffrent keep talking to the babie repetition works that keep hearing it they will start putting it together.My son was i think 7 months.My daughter was 4 months when she said da da now shes 6 months and just said mama a few days ago!They usually say dada first because thats the easiest sound to make.
