i never met my father, now i think its time that i locate him, im 20 years therefor i have been arouns 20 years and he hasnt made an attempt to find me so now i want to pursue looking for him. can i get some help, and resources, and even websites that might help me

We live in an age of equality of the sexes right? I am personally all for it. Yet it is still a big social expectation that men should put the toilet seat down after doing a pee. I argue that this should not be expected anymore. A man does not want to touch hte toilet seat any more than a woman. When a man goes to pee he touches the seat to lift it up. Then he is expected to touch it again to put it down so that a woman will not have to touch it to put it down herself. So why shouldnt they each just have to touch it when they use it. Men would never expect a woman to always leave the toilet seat up for their convenience. Im not paranoid about germs or touching the toilet seat just that it has occured to me that this is really a biased social ediquette.

a brother and sister....both in their late 20's want to have sexual relations, the brother is sterile, and both are know they are psychologically ready for such relations...they also want to get married and have the state recognize their marriage...should this be looked down upon? They can not conceive children, and only want to live as husband and wife...No eww answers.....state in no less than a few sentences how you feel about this, and how the gay rights situation may apply. Two people love each other in a different way than most, but in a sexual way, should society tolerate or accept them?

Back home I had several sibblings and I was always taking care of someone else's child. But I have been away from home for over 7 years. I miss watching over little kids. I am not a pervert or gay and I am fully aware that taking care of a child is an around the clock job and a huge responsability.
Most of my friends are girls and some have kids, but I wish I had a kid that could call me "dad", even if its not my own kid.
Is there anything wrong with me?

well my friend was sick today,and it was so hard to feel bad cause i felt so freaking good.James usually makes jokes and i life and we like never pay attention in orchestra,but today,well today when asked him what it felt like he said it was like someone punching him in the stomach who had absolutely no mercy.

hes pretty geeky,but hs so nice and easy to talk to

Here's the situation......My husband works 2nd shift, they hired a new person and she's a woman..She's only the 3rd or 4th woman that works there and the rest are older ladies.....Anyway, she started flirting with my husband and made it pretty clear that she would like to fool around with him, he says that he rejected her advances and told her that he was married and that he loved his wife and family, but she said she didn't care. It ever resorted to her crabbing his a**. As far as I know everyone that works there knows about it and they all thought it was funny, but to me it's not funny. I love my husband and I trust him. My question is the company has a picnic scheduled shortly and I know she will be there. I have never met her and am not looking foward to it. I don't know what kind of a mood I will be in that day and I don't want to get out of hand. My husband wants me to smile and act like nothing ever happened, but I don't think he would if this happened to him, what do I do?

if u have not read my last question, plz read it ... question is: My Dad is Cheating on My Mom! Too young to know what to do. HELP!!??.

i have just came out of a 4 hour sit down with me, my mom and my dad. I took some of ur advice and confronted my dad. Result, 3 hours of screaming and crying and 1 hour of silence. He asked us what we want and we told him... We need him at home.. and then after 10min of almost agreeing with eachother, my mom snaps again (cant blame her) and he threatens to leave the house now! But me and my mom prevent him from leaving by taking his Keys and Wallet...

*by the way my dad is handicaped... he has a broken leg that cant fixed. he walks with a cane.

I seriously have no idea what to do now... my mom is crying her eyes off... i somewhat feel responsible NOT the fact that they're fighting, but because im the eldest, and the only one who has my moms back but still not able to do anythin... what do i do! HELP!!

Friend's wife (they've been separated a LONG time) both have lived in Florida. She has disappeared with his very young son and we believe she left the state probably. Any chance she can be held for kidnapping or anything? How can he get to his son again? They are very close. This will destroy this little boy too. No divorce proceedings right now or child custody - child born and raised right here. She took him once before but only 2 hours away. This time we think she's gone-gone. What rights does he have? I have had a really hard life as a child and even now as an adult. It all started with my fathers death when I was 2, then mom left and I was left with her parents to raise, whom I truely love! But today I am someone who is so depressed and full of sadness fighting each day to make it through. Somtimes I think I am this way b/c of the lack of a father,everytime a male talks to me like a father I just melt and wanna cry. I dont know who is the other half of me who makes me. I know only my mother but she has a lot of issues and we never got along. Now I am married and he loves me but he's much older than me so even that causes me sadness and depression, and at times I think it all goes back to my past. So the only thing that brings me happiness or some light to my heart is thinking about having my own children. I dont know what to think anymore I feel so empty inside. Is there anyone out there that has passed or is passing through this? Dont feel like youre the only one I'm here with you
