Okay, I like a girl that goes to my high school and I want to ask her out. I am shy and get nervous around her. She may have a boy friend, but I can't tell if they are just friends or in a relationship. I don't know if I could confidently walk up to her to ask her on a date. We used to be friends in elementary school, so would it be okay to ask her out over the phone, or does it have to be done in person. Any advice will be helpful, execept "just ask her out".

I will give 10 points to whoever gives me the best answer based on expriance, or the answer that helps me the most with this problem. Thanks.

theres a guy i asked out a year ago before ever talking to him. ik, bad idea.
he said no.
then a year later he started talking to me after i ignored him. then i payed attention to him. then he stopped talking to me.
then i ignored him b/c someone told me he said i freaked him out.
then every time i accidentally glanced at him, he was looking at me.
you see, i think he just wants me to like him, and doesn't care about my feelings...
i want him to know how i feel, and i wanna get him to like me a lot... how should i go about doing that? PLEASE help.

I was raised in an alcoholic family, and now, in my relationship I am not able to trust my girlfriend at all. I mean, I have reasons not to trust her; however, I think I am overreacting. she says after we move together she still wants to stay in touch with her male friends (including her ex-boyfriend), she still compares me to the other men, she says she's with me because I am very intelligent, and she does not find me attractive so much; she says I will have share her 'with other people', that she doesn't love me ('not yet, but I am willing to'), and she does not miss me (we live 300 miles from each other).. Honestly, I am really hurt, and she does not know how it is possible... It all makes me think - I' so confused!!! Is she worth my time? Shall I trust her? Shaould I be with someone who doesn't love me back, but is 'willing to'?

Some people lie in a very plausible way when they are determined to get what they want or when they are determined to get their way.
Truth tellers are attracted to these people because people of the lie seem self-assured which the insecure truth teller finds attractive (truth telling always leads to some insecurity).
People of the lie are attracted to truth tellers because they know for sure that a truth teller will always cave in to a persistent deceiver and deceivers need the security that that power gives them.
Deceivers can already manipulate away their own fears but the last thing they need is a partner who might rock the boat.
So very often truth tellers and people of the lie get married.
But once they have sussed each other out (7 years?) the truth teller starts rocking the boat.
And if the truth teller succeed to even a small degree in getting other people to blame the deceiver then the deceiver will divorce the truth teller because the deceiver cannot tolerate blame.

I've been in an on again off again friendship/relationship with a guy for 6 years. no matter how far apart we are or how many people we date during our separation, we always find some way of coming back to each other. when we are together we tend to misunderstand each other, get into a petty argument and go our separate ways. we always say we are waiting on the other one to get his/her act together. we've had some good times and the potential to have had some great times but it usually goes wrong somehow. could this be something real or is it just us fighting for something that isn't there?

A girlfriend of mine got engaged shortly before I did this year. She is planning on having her wedding right before Thanksgiving. Everything is planned out pretty much except she couldnt find a DJ in the town where she lives who has the type music that she wants. her hubby to be left it up to her in regards to the planning. Her best friend suggested that my friend call her ex since he was a DJ to see could he do it. This is the thing- i told her that she shouldnt because Lord forbid her hubby find out, or the guy go crazy and ruin her music or even worse, lets people know they were intimate before. her hubby 2 b doesnt know this guy, but i think he would be hurt if the guy did the music. For what its worth- her ex is an awesome Dj and lots of people book him. he told her he would only charge her half price and has no interest in her whatsoever- i still think it is wrong. What do you think?

i have this friend, and she used to be really nice, but now she has been really mean. she makes fun of me, calls me a loser and says i'm mean and she calls me a prep wannabe. shes always really nice to me in the morning on the bus but then later in the day she is mean. at first i just ignored it but it got worse. i tried talking to her about it but she wouldn't take me seriously. i've tried not talking to her at all, but that doesn't work either. and i know that if i try to do the same thing back to her she will take it personally and cry about it. and all my friends are always hanging out with her and she doesn't include me. and she is always taking advantage of me. if i let her borrow something from me like a pen or pencil, she doesn't give it back. and she says i can't dance and that i have not talent. i need advice on what to do in this situation. i feel like i'm trapped. what should i do?

my ex and have a son hes 2 and i supprised her by getting at tatto of his name on my arm and i got z a cross on his arm and when i told her that i got him a tatto my normaly sweet ex whent scary on me she was like " what the hell did you do my baby ?!? you better pray to sainta mariea that i dont kick your asz !! and then she started to cuase me out in spanish and then my fience' walked thought the door and calmed her down and said that she knows that im stupod and that she has to understand that i cant think ahead.
my ex calmed down and said that if any thing else happens to her baby that she would kick my *** and that she like the cross on z's arm . but now that i think about it mabe i shouldnt have done that .my sister said that im the most studip 21 year old man that she ever met .but why was my ex so scary ?

Don't know how the hell its happened but I'm stuck in very own comedy/horror; if someone else told me this story I'd probably laugh. I met this guy about a year ago who I originally had nothing in common with ( just to set you straight he's gay, i'm not so's not what you're thinking )- kind of a dick really; loud mouthed, rude, etc. Then we saw more of each other, now he lives with me and are really involved in a very deep and peronal way- we both had awful and awfully similar upbringings and have shared some very touching stories- Iv'e told him things I've never told anyone before. He's also emotionally unstable- hates his job and if he's not being obnoxious he's clinging to me in tears- I think the world of him and I don't want to, he takes everything I have- and both love and hate him and am starting to regret the day we ever met- "*+ÇK!
