my ex and have a son hes 2 and i supprised her by getting at tatto of his name on my arm and i got z a cross on his arm and when i told her that i got him a tatto my normaly sweet ex whent scary on me she was like " what the hell did you do my baby ?!? you better pray to sainta mariea that i dont kick your asz !! "
and then she started to cuase me out in spanish and then my fience' walked thought the door and calmed her down and said that she knows that im stupod and that she has to understand that i cant think ahead.
my ex calmed down and said that if any thing else happens to her baby that she would kick my *** and that she like the cross on z's arm . but now that i think about it mabe i shouldnt have done that .my sister said that im the most studip 21 year old man that she ever met .but why was my ex so scary ?

Holy sh&t!! You have got to be kidding me! You didn't really get your 2 year old a REAL tattoo did you? Please tell me it was a rub on/rub off thing! If not and you did in fact get a real one on your poor child... you really ARE stupid. Your EX acted calmly compared to how I would have reacted.

I am a mom and here is my opinion.
I feel bad for you that you did not think it through. You may regret it a lot later, but i truely think you were NOT THINKING!
I have 2 sons. I could never do that to them. What you did was to mark that baby's body permanently as if it were yours. Your property. A child does not come from you, it comes through you into this life. You do not own and mark on a human being like they are your property, like luggage.
They own their own body and they keep it for the rest of their lives. Your baby will be a toddler, a teen, a man, an old man, and he will be an old man that carries a mark that someone else decided to give to him before he had the capabitity to make decisions for himself.
You don't even know if it is something he will like or believe in later. He will be a man with your stupidity branded on him.
Besides a college fund, you better start putting away for a laser tattoo removal fund also. You owe him that.
I have been thinking about a tattoo for over 20 years now and finally found something meaningful to me that I could live with for the rest of my life. You took that choice, that right to decide, away from your son.
I understand why she went crazy on you. The best thing you can do now is be sorry, admit you are a huge dumbass, and start saving $$ for removal.
In all, I believe your intentions were from love, so I hope they will understand you also and accept your apology and forgive your mistake.......and life goes on. You will have lots of time to do many great things for your son that will make people forget this or laugh later at how crazy that was. Your overall parenting will average out the dumb things, just be loving all the time and a little more responsible. Okay?

Honestly. If that were me I think I would have went psycho too..... That is all a mother thinks about all the time is how her baby is going to age and mature. A scar on a baby's body is excruciating to a mother I Cant imagine a tattoo......
You have to think of it this way. That baby now has to grow up with a permanent mark on his body.
And to be totally honest I really hope this is a joke.
Because that poor child might even hate that when he gets older. I was devastated when my daughter was atttacked by a dog and it left a horrible scar above her eye. She has this mark on her face for the rest of her life... kids are some of the meanest creatures on earth and she to this day gets teased some because of this scar.
Personally... I would have been much worse than your ex. Not being cynical or anything else. My husband ever did anything like that to one of our children I think I would divorce him. For being so careless and not thinking about how the child is going to feel about that later.
Women are funny creatures...I am truly amazed that it wasn't worse than that. You are probably lucky that she is usually sweet or she could have beaten you half to death.
I have but one question for you... Where the heck did you find anyone to do that to a baby????? That is insane. and cruel. and ohhhhhhhh so illegal

Your child has to live with the marks on him forever now.(not that a cross is bad). It should have been his decision to get a tattoo though. His Mom probably acted like every other Mom in the world would have acted. Actually you are lucky you are still breathing.LOL

She isn't scary, she was right. I would have hit you with a frying pan if you had put a tatoo on my baby. If you are 21 and old enough to have a kid, I think its time you grew up.
