Don't know how the hell its happened but I'm stuck in very own comedy/horror; if someone else told me this story I'd probably laugh. I met this guy about a year ago who I originally had nothing in common with ( just to set you straight he's gay, i'm not so's not what you're thinking )- kind of a dick really; loud mouthed, rude, etc. Then we saw more of each other, now he lives with me and are really involved in a very deep and peronal way- we both had awful and awfully similar upbringings and have shared some very touching stories- Iv'e told him things I've never told anyone before. He's also emotionally unstable- hates his job and if he's not being obnoxious he's clinging to me in tears- I think the world of him and I don't want to, he takes everything I have- and both love and hate him and am starting to regret the day we ever met- "*+ÇK!

I had the same problem. I dated a guy off and on for about 18mos. I could not let go. We had nothing in common but it was like we were addicted to each other. We had a horrible relationship and he tore me down every chance he could then would tell me he loved me the next week. You need to leave him alone. You need to not talk to him. This is not a healthy friendship. I know you think you feel this connection but it's clear from the outside looking in that this is a volatile relationship that will only end in misery. Cut ties immediately. I did and it was hard but I'm so much happier and I get happier every day I don't talk to him.

Seeing that you both shared stories that you never told anyone before, why can’t you tell him how you feel. Does his what he think of you matter? Even if it does or not, if you are good friends you should be able to tell him how you feel about his behavior without him getting upset.

You've fallen for the charm of a dynamic yet toxic individual, and since you seem to be the strong one in the relationship find the strength to set him free and regain your peace of mind. You only get one shot at this life, and you don't deserve to live it in hell.

So he's dependent on you? You have a love/hate relationship? That is a dilemma I s'pose because you'd hate to leave him and yet you need to escape from him. Doesn't he need to learn to stand on his own 2 feet though?Couldn't u do him a favour by leaving him. - for a while??

This is plan and simple dump him and leave it will be better for both of you plus he will learn to grow on his own it will make a man out of him.

um... wow i realy don't know..... i think you should tell him how you feel about what he is doing and if he acts like he is 3 then you know what you have to do even if it is hard and it sounds like you all ready know what you have to do bet are scared to do it because you think you will hert him more the he allready is but if your his real friend you have to tell the trouth and thats all you can do for him
