oky my daughter is 8 she has been to school now for a week school just started she is very timid shy person whos feelings are easily hurt, well the teacher asked them to write down notes but she made a mistake and wrote her notes under the wrong column and she said her teacher yelled at her for doing it. I felt that all children make mistakes and she has only been in school for a week learning and adjusting to new things, why come she couldnt have got on her level and just said to her in a calm voice this isnt under the right column why scream at her for something this small. I dont want to seem like the overly concerned mom about every little thing but do you think i should speak with her about the tone she used with my daughter.

Ok...so im 13 right now and i oved a few provinces away from where i used to live a few years ago..i ahvent seen my dad fr 5 years now and we just got together for the first time about 3 weeks ago..ive been staying at his house since then and im only on a summer vacation ..but..i dont want to go back to where my mom and my stepdad and brother live..the schooling is harder and i have better friends here than what i do there. the only reason i would go back to where i live is because of my parents and brother..where here i ahve uncles,aunts,cousis friends and my dad. Schoolin is better here and i have more freedom...what should i do..go back to my moms and stepdads house? or stay with my dad?

I work at a preschool. During the last two hours that the school is open (from 4 to 6), I work with a girl around my age who is completely lazy. She is always giving me trouble about vacuuming or mopping, even though it's been explained to her that I'm not able to do those things -- I'm in my third trimester of pregnancy and not physically able.

At LEAST three days a week, she makes up an excuse to leave work early, around 5:30 or so when there are still kids in the classroom. She's "so tired", or "feels really sick", or "didn't take her break today" or some other lame excuse all the time. She only works part-time, five hours a day!

It's really getting on my nerves, especially since yesterday I had to be somewhere right after work and wanted to leave a few minutes early, but she "made plans to leave early, too." Total BS.

How can I tell this girl that I'm sick of it without being a beeyotch?

Situation: 3 kids, all different ages. The oldest 2 daughters are now showing me any respect, are making jokes about me, are quick to point out & laugh at my own character defects, and are consistently belittling me. My wife intervenes sometimes, but other times she seems to promote this behavior by laughing at the kids jokes or not talking to her own kids about showing me respect or by just general statements that promote this behavior. What is a first time step-dad to do in this situation?

i was very much in love with that guy for 2 years and he two he was just about to propose to me when suddenly instead he broke of with me but never really stopped talking to me or calling me and saying he's just not ready for marriage yet and if he ever thought about marriage it would be me but i could not go on like this and stopped calling or answering his phonecalls eight months passed by but i was still deeply in love with him. i discovered by total coincedence that he got married and was engaged all the time he was talking to me and he called me after that saying that he repents and can't get me out of his head. neverending phonecalla and saying that he will leave her ( they have no kids ) but taking no steps forward to it. then she discovered our relation and he decided to end what we had after running miles after me. i was in total rage so i called her and told her abt everything. was that wrong of me to do, did he ever love me?

When she comes to our house she walks in with dirty feet and helps herself to our drinks in the cupboards, she smokes in our house even when I ask her not to, gets drunk and is generally an unpleasent person, she borrows money from my wife and doesn't repay it. She lives in a big beutiful house and goes abroard twice a year yet is always crying poverty so my wife buys her things.
When you go to her house you have to take your shoes off outside, she goes outside for a smoke, and hides the drinks.
There is no way she would lend you money or even do a favour for you.
But my wife thinks the sun shines out of her sisters backside, What can I do?
