I think that it's your first experience in love matters. Well first of all you have to make yourself feel at ease with your boyfriend. Things will then work out better on it's own. You can say things like my love, darling, honey, sweet pie, darling prince. You might feel a bit hesitated to tell him all these things at the start. So start by telling him all these on the phone. You can also send roses to him expressing your love. Some guys like that. But it's really important for you to overcome your shyness first. This will make things more easy for you. If its not built in it wont come easy . i hated that stupid talk sweety pie and hunny bun it took me a long time to use and my husband thinks its cute . of course we've been married for 19 yrs i think i just started about 5 yrs ago calling him honey or hun.any way its baby talk and its stupidand guys like it for some reason . so you have to makethem happy.
