Me and my friend know each other for quite a while.I have told him that i have a special liking for him.weare very open to each other and talk about anything under the sun.but he always says that he will be my best friend,but still he gets romantic and i am confused with what he says and does.and need to say we are on online chat as we are in two different parts of the world.recently we had small fight and hesid to me he wilnever come again to chat with me.it made me so sad that i was crying for quite a long time.now i don't know what to do .i am sure i am fallen for him,and i need to also say that he is in a difficult position.is that could be the reason that he is unable to take any decision or is that he just thinks me as a very close friend.any suggestions please

The guy i've been seeing has admitted to me in the past about being terrified of getting hurt, and even attached because he's had a hard past (romantically and otherwise), but last night we were talking and he said that since things were getting to be a little more serious between us he had to tell me that he CAN'T trust people, no one, ever and that between his insecurity and distrust he won't try much - towards anything.

So my question, as for right now I've got no problems with this, we still enjoy each others company and such but I know that the lack of trying and eventually the distrust will ware on me.. should I stay and hope he learns to trust me or keep myself at a distance now so as to not get hurt so badly - I care a great deal about him.

NOTE: we're both in early 20's and have similar pasts, just reacted total opposite from them, IE I give everything and gives little

My dad is getting married soon with this girl who is 12 years younger than him, before she and i wer good frends but after the secret trip he took with her( they didnt tell me only my other sister), which eventually i found out, I got all suspicious and wondered why they didnt tell me nor my sister and when they came back they acted like they didnt even left the house now im really pissed with both of them i dont even talk infront of them, well only my dad because he might get suspicious and he might get mad at me for acting like that.... But it really hurted me that both of them are secretly running off together to some other city far from ours and they didnt even care what me and my sister would feel...
