You need to ask yourself do you like your job? Once you start seeing someone in your work place can open up a big can of worms. Whether it be someone thinks you or the other person is getting special treatment because of the relationship or if something was to go wrong in the relationship it may become sexual harassment. So you need to decide if it is worth it for whatever outcome comes out from this relation.

It is legal but you might have to check your working contract or policy to see if they frown upon that sort of thing. It can be seen as unprofessional or a confilct of interests. The fact that you work in different departments probably wouldn't bring up any cause for concern, unless you used work time to "liase" with each other. Ask your manager and be professional about it. Consider what would happen if it didnt last also, this might be something you need to discuss before you get serious with each other as it could cause work problems.

You should read your employee handbook because technically, they are legally allowed to let you go if they find out. They could say that can cause a hostile work environment if something would happen (any problems in the relationship) and that it is in the best interest of the company. It's bull **** but they can do it.

It's perfectly legal, although your employer may have a policy against co-workers dating. If you do start dating, try to keep your relationship professional at work so that it doesn't create problems for you. Go for it!

There's nothing legal or illegal about dating a coworker. Laws generally don't talk about that.
The more important question you should ask is, Does your employer have a policy that prohibits dating coworkers?
Good luck.

it's legal but may be grounds to fire you on.
Depending on your stores policy, see if there is a section on dating in a work handbook, or ask a manager if inner company dating is allowed.

there is no legal issues about this, it would depend your company policy, some places do not like it when you date other employees, because if you brake up or have a fight it can cause real problems.

some companies in the US have a "no dating of colleagues policy", check your terms and conditions...
here in the UK there isn't anything like that... (that I am aware of)...
