I am pretty sure I can't have kids the "traditional way", so I am looking at adopting a kid in the next 5-10 years.
I am white skinned, as is my husband. My friend says that she knew some adopted Korean kids who had a major complex of being adopted because their parents were white, and they were reminded all the time that they were adopted, and were confused and felt out of place.
What do you think? Should white adopt white to advoid the issue of a complex, or is there a way to teach your adopted kid that just because they are a different color than their parents, it bears no effect on their role as a member of the family.

I have a friend I met on a forum we get on well, but he’s gay. I don’t mind he’s gay but he likes little young boys. 10-13 years old I noticed. And he’s 16.
I have no trouble with him but sometimes he says quite dodgy things to me.
I try and ignore him on msn and I’ve blocked him but on the forum he pms (private messages) to me and trys to make me talk to him over msn.
Some of my other friends on msn have had trouble with him- so they’ve either blocked or deleted him.
he says he’s not a pervert or a paedophile but I dunno who to trust anymore.
I don't want to block or delete him cause everyone seems to and I feel sorry for him.
What should I do?

Just an over all question. Most of my friends are guys, because I honestly get along with the opposite sex better. Ive become .. a bit of a diary " journal" if you want to make it masculine. A lot of them tell me their secreats and ive seriously noticed. Guys are a lot more deeper than I assumed. A lot more sweet, and sensitive then what they potray them selves to be.

So why put up an act ?

My dad is a real jerk. He always hit's me and my brother and sister for no reason. I asked my mom to talk to him and she said "just stop making him mad". My mom would leave and take us but she can't aford it right now so we have to stay. what should i do?

This has become a major problem for me. I become very sore after awhile, which he thinks that I'm faking in order to get out of having sex so often. Also each time it lasts at least 20 to 30 minutes. The only time I can get any sleep is when he is not there.
He thinks I should consider myself lucky as we are both 41.

i'm starting to feel closer and closer to a coworker of mine. He challenges me intellectually, which makes me emotionally and physically attracted to him. I work in a very professional setting and I'm not sure how to handle myself around him any longer.

Our neighbor recently received a letter from his daughter.They had a falling out when his ex wife asked him to take the daughter out of the state to his home, because she was having premarital sex, and going to drop out of school. She left after she became out of control, but not before she graduated HS. He made the effort to write to her 4 years ago to see if they could reconcile. She refused.
She has since married, and ready to become a grand mom.
Her letter stated she wants to reconcile now because she heard of 2 family members deaths. Her brother took the same position in her defense regarding being taken from the state, and won't communicate with the dad either.
I told him I would be very leary of her motives.

What would be your advice?

I have a friend, when were 19 he had to quit college because he had to work to take care of the girl he got pregnant. He had a one-night stand, he never got married with her because they didn't love each other, so he worked 2 jobs, and never finished college to take care of the baby. 5 years later,they have a fight, and the mother tells him the boy is not his, he get a paternity test and the boy wasn't his.

The mother knew all along the boy wasn't his, and just took his money for 5 years.

There so many laws to make sure the father pays childsupport, what laws are there to protect men from this kind of women?
