I would say yes. A blind person has never seen color, and should adapt by imagining what certain colors look like by hearing the descriptions. When one body part doesn't work, the others come together to compensate in other ways. With blindness, the person creates their own ideas of how things "look".

Yes, I can. You see, you can not imagine living without colors, but for a blind person it can not be imagined what living with them would be like. Of course, compensations occur. For us, it's asking what it would be like if we couldn't see colors and for a blind person it's imagining what those colors might look like. I think I could describe colors to a blind person, but it would be hard.

I would think it would be very hard to describe colors to a person that was born blind. I suppose if one said the color of red and describe a certain emotion such as, Hot, red makes one angry so on......

well he can imagine it of course cz blind people have a sixth sense , it's like God took their sight and gave them the sixth sense and even when they touch things they can feel if it was a bright or a dark color.

I have low vision and I have many friends who are totally blind and I can tell you they really don't give two craps when people mention color.

I've often wondered this myself...

If they have never seen color, then how do they imagine it?

And how would you decribe a color?

I realize I'm not answering your question, but I've totally thought about this and it boggles my mind...
