I have a friend, when were 19 he had to quit college because he had to work to take care of the girl he got pregnant. He had a one-night stand, he never got married with her because they didn't love each other, so he worked 2 jobs, and never finished college to take care of the baby. 5 years later, they have a fight, and the mother tells him the boy is not his, he get a paternity test and the boy wasn't his.

The mother knew all along the boy wasn't his, and just took his money for 5 years.

There so many laws to make sure the father pays childsupport, what laws are there to protect men from this kind of women?

I know you can't change the past, but IMO he should have had a paternity test in the first place, not after five years. That is one of the things that DO protect fathers who pay child support. I know what you're trying to say, and I sympathize with your friend, and the only thing I can tell you is that sometimes the best offense is a good defense. Had he protected himself to begin with he would not have been in that situation, and now it comes down to his word against hers.

Not sure if there are any laws to help him. He should have never signed any paperwork until he got a paternity test in the first place. If he signed the papers claimin her was responsible for the child then he has to pay what was agreed. I hate that he was in that situation but at least now he knows and he can move on with his life.

It is, however, returning the money in a lump sum isn't good for the child's need/finances. The mother in this case scenario should be able to have a payment plan in order to repay the scammed father and fall under the rules of child support for that state. Thank god for paternity testing.

He should be able to file a lawsuit for recovery from the birth mother along with damages IF he can prove she deceived him for the 5 years. He should also be able to collect punitive damages. He needs to consult a lawyer.
