A girl I used to be friends with a long time ago just got hired at my job. We have not been friends for almost 5 years because she started talking about me behind my back. She knows I work here and to top it off, I am going to be her supervisor! (She starts next week) To make things worse, she has been sending MY friends slandering e-mails about me, making stuff up that I talk bad about them, etc. My friends told her to get a life but she has continued sending e-mails that I'm this and that. She starts at my job next week and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to remain professional when all I really want to do is sock her in the teeth! Any suggestions...
P.S. We're almost 30 yrs old! I know this sounds like a teenage problem-that's how lame she really is!

I am trying to explain to my man that women do look at other women... it's just to compare ourselves... I told him I don't know why we do it but we do.. I mean I look at her but not in a sexual way just to compare myself to her etc.

My husbands sibling hardy ever have anything to do with us. If they do it is usually because they want something (borrow something, need a babysitter, or it is a holiday or special occasion). He has about 8-9 nieces/nephews that we may see one time a year (Christmas). I dont know his family very well, and since they dont seem to care to see us throughout most of the year, I have no desire at all to go to the kids birthday parties. My husband doesnt care one way or the other. Are we morally obligated to go to these birthday parties?

I know I'm basically just ranting but do any of you feel like this. Are any of you flustrated by some of the things you see on Yahoo! Answers? It seems like everytime I get on Answers I ALWAYS see questions like "Could I be pregnant? If I have unprotected sex, can I get pregnant?" Why do this kiddies not know that sex can = a baby?? I'm an older teen I know that, I've had sex ed. & I'm still a virgin and I know all of this. Why haven't these sexually active people been taught this? Why are little kids that are 11-14 yrs old have bfs & gfs? I love Answers but I get flustrated at some of these questions. Are they serious questions? If so why don't people bother to educate themselves BEFORE they even THINK about becoming sexually active or getting in a relationship. I know this is ranting but I just wanted to know if anyone else felt like this. I'm not sure where to put this so I'm putting it here. I'm sorry for the inconveince it there was any and Thank you ahead of time for answering.
