I am involved in a long distance relationship after years of divorce..and told my g/f that it would be different this time
compared to when we dated in the past .. that i had a daughter
and that she'd be my one and only care in the world ..that she
would have to understand this .. she said yes .. yet to make
a long story short .. twice she has gotten upset about my
decisions which would benefit my daughter in the end..

The last time we had an argument was that i wanted to
try to get into a tourism college (im 29 btw) and that i've
decided to cut off internet to concentrate completely on
it and complete the training since it would be full time
monday to friday morning to afternoon and as we all
know .. student life is expensive right? and she got
upset with me .. that's the third time already ...i do care
about my g/f and her feelings but she refuses to understand
that better education means i can provide for my daughter
better...

What's your opinion?

Broke up with my boyfriend of 4 1/2 months. His friends send me messages like I am a terrible person, but he started scaring me towards the end of the relationship and tried to be controlling. Now he tries to corner me whenever I am near him, and tries to talk to my family whenever he can.Telling his side to all to gain pity. He also text messages me and leaves very angry voicemails. I want to tell his friends what really happened so they would know why and stop asking me to talk to him, but they aren't my friends so I don't know if I should. I don't even think I should talk to him at all anymore, but this is my first relationship and I feel badly for not trying to be his friend. Everytime I try though, he tries to reattach and control things again. Should I even try to explain to people or just leave it alone? Is it really fair that I should be the bad guy to everyone if it is his fault and he's trying to make me seem heartless?

My family and I are moving out of our neighborhood at the end of the month. Our neighbors have been wonderful friends during our time here, and I wanted to get them a gift to thank them for everything. Ideas can be for the whole family, or just the lady of the house. There are two sets of families, one with husband, wife and an 11 month old baby boy, and one with husband, wife, and two boys, one adolescent, one pre-adolescent. Thanks for your help!

I just started dating a guy that actually fantasises about being a genie...! I mean big time.. He's always trying to push the fantasy by wearing his genie clothes around the house and calling me master etc. He loves ironing my clothes and has always got an erection while doing it, which inevitably leads to sex... I'm starting to think he's a little too much, any answers...?

My ex husband keeps telling me how he regrets marrying this woman, and that he hates her kids. He feels like "he's just playing house" with her, it feels odd to him to be away from his own kids, yet he has hers all the time. He says he still loves me and misses our kids so much he goes around with an upset stomach. He wants to come back to his own family again.

I'm sitting here struggling to raise 2 kids as a single mom, babysitter problems, and the kids always say how they want him back. I'm drowning here. Problem is he was abusive to me and cheated on me. Should I take the chance in trying to get together again? It's been 5 years.

My hubby's nephew and his wife are having a little boy in December and they are going with a Nautical theme for the baby's room, I am having trouble finding items to match that theme; I usually give blankets. Do you know where I can look to find anything? He committed aggrevated robbery and he is a recovering alcoholic born again christian. I was just asking I just met the guy.
