Feminism is about a woman's right to make her own choices in life, on a (someday, maybe) level playing field. Such choices might include being a full time homemaker or a garbage collector.
Although some feminists don't seem to get it, those choices might also include being a hooker or a porn star.
Why mainstream pornography is considered exploitative of women, but not of the men in the same movie, I'll never understand. The only reason I can think of is that the *average* male is more dependent on visual sexual stimuli than the *average* female. So men are more likely to be the consumers of porn, and women the commodities in it.
But one thing that feminism has accomplished, at least in the United States in my lifetime, is to offer those women who enjoy visual stimulation the freedom to indulge in it. I am not one of those women, but for those of you who are, more power to you!
Reveling in your desires for things like painted fingernails, facials, or watching naked people doing the deed is NOT a sin against feminism! Those who think it is are missing the point.

Feminism is more about control. There are a lot of old school feminists who consider porn to be degrading to women, but there are a lot of camps that work under the banner that sex is a womans most powerful weapon for control. The way I see it is we all have wants, needs, desires and fetishes and there is nothing wrong with any of them (that is, as long as you are not acting these desires out upon a person who does not reciprocate)
One of the best articles I have been able to find is from the satanist community. No I am not one nor do I intend to be, but the article follows their beliefs in empowerment.

turned on by porn - depends on the context of the porn - is a woman being victimized in any way? if not then there's no conflict with your belief system... facials?/ well to each him/herself... what ever floats your boat.
