I am middled aged and found a sister that was given away before I was born. I found her in March of this year. There were also two brothers which were placed up for adoption, one raised with this sister and the other one alone.
I have been searching for these sibling for many years and now the newly found sister doesn't want me to contact the brothers. She refused to give me contact information, even thought she has it on both of them. I have found the brother that was adopted with her, but not the other one. I haven't contacted him yet because she said she doesn't want me to. My heart is breaking and I feel like sending her a letter and telling her I can no longer have contact with her and going ahead and contacting my brother and continuning searching for the other one.
Is she being fair to me? I feel it is jealousy on her part and that is the reason she doesn't want me to know the brothers.
I feel so lost and so hurt.
what would you do if you were me?

My husband doesn't pay much attention to what's going on with me at all. He's tired when he gets home. He'll go talk to a neighbor or work out with a friend. He's a great father, but it doesn't seem like he has much interest in me, if any. I've told him many times I need more attention. He thinks it's always drama with me, but I just don't think he listens to what I say, so whatever I say is too much for him. He doesn't hardly touch me, much less kiss and when we do something it's about once, twice, maybe three times in a month. He's say I never initiate, but he doesn't either. It seems like he'd do anything for anyone, but me. I have to tell him to get up to go to bed and then he thinks I'm yelling at him. If I wouldn't have said anything he wouldn't get up on his own. He just difficult to talk to even tell him how I'm feeling. He just gets mad and goes to sleep. I want it to get better. I just get frustrated because I try to talk, but it just ends up with a fight. Help

We've been on for 8 months, almost living together. He goes out sometimes( 2-3 fridays a month ) with his friends that he knows I won't go out with because of past issues. I feel that he's ignoring my feelings and he doesn't care about me. I feel uneasy and uncomfortable everytime he goes out with them. i believe in this 100% and i want my relationship to be this way. however my boyfriend of 2 years believes differently, that there are things men can do that women can't because they are "the man in the relationship". its never anything outrageous but it is the cause of many arguements because we can never see eye to eye. we never have agreed but just let it go. but im getting frustrated that its something permanent. i know there are gender roles in a relationship and am fine with that. but shouldn't they be equal? i think that if he doesn't feel comfortable with me doing something then i wont, and he shouldn't either. basically im looking for a way to get it through his head, we aren't back in the old days, we both deserve equal treatment. im 21 and he's 25, there are some years between us but not much. is this a lost cause? any suggestions? should the man ever have more say so in a relationship? just need some input. thank you
