It might seem odd as it is not a stereotypically male trait, but yes, two guys, totally straight, can have emotional attraction. Not sexual attraction, but perhaps a strong kinship. I'm thinking of an example where two widowers are bonding after their wives have passed. Alcoholics Anonymous tends to promote this as well. Often it results in very deep friendships, but only platonic.

Of course. Guys have friends. Girls have friends. We play together as children. We talk about stuff, etc.I think it's a form of bonding. Also, think about this. If you and another guy were in the armed forces, one of you might save the other's life. Some people are lifelong friends.

I think so. After all, we are all only human. But you are right, I don't know of any straight guy that would admit to it. For some reason they feel that it makes them vulnerable.
