I have this guy friend who i dated back in high school. Over the years, we have kept in contact on and off. At one point he was in a relationship and she didn't agree with our friendship so we ended it. Five years later, we run into eachother again. He claims he is single, but everytime we make plans to hang out, he never comes thru. He'll say he'll call but doesn't. So I dont bother to call either. It seems like he calls me every 3 months, but i never see him, then he won't call for awhile. I know he's not married cause i've called his house. I'm confused. why wont he hang out with me? I dont see why he would lie about being with someone cause i wouldn't care if he had a girl. I use to think maybe he's gay, but i wouldn't care about that either. I do find him attractive but we just use to be good friends. we were too young to get it on before, so nothing happned but friendship and kissing.

this kid says that he likes me back but that he doesn't want to be with me because "he knows that it wont work out" what am i gonna do. Do i tell hm thatto lets to just try and see what happens or do i just drop and leave it alone.

Me and my boyfriend had been together ten months. We ended up getting into a huge fight that resulted in me hitting him in his arm. For whatever reason it becomes VERY difficult for me to control myself when I'm angry. I feel violent. Well we broke up because it scares him (understandable) but I've completely learned my lesson now. I'm not sure he believes me. He told me to call him in a week and to give him space...but will that even work? How do I get him to believe that I definately know what I have lost and I don't want to let it go.? Should I just move on or do you think he really wants to work things out if I stopped hitting when we argued?

My finance and I are having problems with regards to sex. He is never in the mood for it when I am and he attributes much of it to his youth; apparently he used sex in the past as a means to feel "needed". He is from an adopted home where he says that he never felt love and never received hugs. Now that we are together, sex seems more of a task for him. He knows that I love him and cherish him, but as he has pretty much stated, sex is not all that important to him. He loves to hug and cuddle, but now that he knows that he's with someone who loves him, he doesn't feel a need for sex. I on the other hand feel and know the importance of the intimate bond and closeness that sex brings. I have brought it to his attention that he as probably developed a warp sense of what sex really means since he never place much importance on it since he has used it in the past to complete a feeling of being needed.

I think would could both benefit from sex counseling at least. Any other suggestions?

im 33 years old and have 3 kids. i wear shorts all the time but hgave good legs lol. but when we go swimming i wear a bikini top with shorts bottom. she says im acting trampy and an unfit mom. she says im too old and big to wear thar(bust size not body wear a 36DD) but i dont think that makes me a bad person or mom. ive been single 5 years so why do i keep feeling like i have to justify the way i dress? it does hurt my feelings but should it?

Is being in love really important in a relationship. we have sex and all that but I'm not making love to her and I really don't want to. To me it's just sex. I think she loves me because she tells me regularly. I hane been divorced for a year now and I know that I'm still in love with the ex. Who was very immature and 11 years my younger. I met a really nice man bout year n half ago and we got on really well, and had a gr8 connection. But I was with bf at the time. I did cheat on him though as we weren't gr8 at time. I split when i nex c him, n met man again, n we stayed in touch. but i got back with bf, n although we spoke 4 a yr he eventually gave up. I started seeing this guy about amonth ago. We live about an hour away from each other. I am moving to his area to start school. I will be moving to an apartment that is close to school and his work. I would be a logical plan seeing as how we are together all the time anyways. I just dont want things to move too quickly and scare him away.
