I have friends all over the world, friendship is an relationship. If your meaning a loving relationship well it can start out long distant as long as it does not remain long distant then yes it can work. There is a misconception in our world that people speak badly about people on line (where a lot of long distant relationships begin). I have seen this online more than off. But what is funny about this the people who make these comments are not understanding they are just the people they put down. I seen it posted so many times people on line telling other people on line don't trust anyone on line. People are people rather they are on line or off. we are still people and yes any relationship from anywhere on this planet can work if you work at it. If we keep putting up walls instead of bridges we all will die bitter and lonely.

If both parties are willing to put in time. You should share who travels to each other one week to the next. And make ever moment count. And hopefully your long distance relationship isn't a permanent one.

This question has been asked sooooooooo many times. Well maybe you missed them all. I think it is a very hard thing to do.I know of one person in her early 50ties that it worked out for that's all. They were on line for years and she went to visit him a few times and they finally got married after 5 years. It may work but I think the chances are low because of the loneliness mostly and trust.

It depends on how well you trust the person your in a relationship with. My bf just moved to Cali 6 months ago and we talk on the phone every night before i go to sleep and morning before he goes to work.

Seriously? It depends!
It's really awful, out of sight = out of mind of some people
while... some(maybe very very little) end up being together.

Oh well, Tampines to Jurong East is far enough a distance for me!
