im 33 years old and have 3 kids. i wear shorts all the time but hgave good legs lol. but when we go swimming i wear a bikini top with shorts bottom. she says im acting trampy and an unfit mom. she says im too old and big to wear thar(bust size not body wear a 36DD) but i dont think that makes me a bad person or mom. ive been single 5 years so why do i keep feeling like i have to justify the way i dress? it does hurt my feelings but should it?

Keep doing what you want to do. My best friend does the same thing to me. She tells me how I should dress or do my hair. I don't listen to her and after 20 years of knowing each other i think she might have given up on how telling me to look. I tell her I dress and do my hair how I want and i always will. I don't follow trends i am my own person. You show your body and that's great, for you. I always wear sweats and big shirts, but that's what I like. Don't let anyone tell you what to do. Be who you are.

So it sounds like your friend is jealous. As long as you feel comfortable and carry yourself well, then I would keep on keepin on. I'm 27 with two kids and a part of the itty bitty titty commity, I wear a two piece (with no padding) and could care less what other people think. Tell your "friend" to get a life, and worry about her own problems. Because I'm pretty sure she's no Pam Anderson.....

What the heck are you supposed to wear when you swim? This is rediculous. I cannot see the corrilation between bathing suit wearing and bad parenting. Your "friend" is short sided. Don't listen to negativity and criticism. Maybe get some new, more positive friends in your life. Take care.

Your still a young and vibrant woman. It sounds like someone else is hating on you. If your at the pool you a appropriately dressed to be there, as long as your not dressing this way outside the designated pool area your fine.

Just make sure the girls stay in that top.. That might be a little embarassing.. lol
Other than that.. If your'e friend is saying that stuff to you, you should tell her to mind her own business.. As long as you feel comfortable in it then youre fine.. And 33 is NOT to old to look sexy! :)
PS- im 18 years old..

I think she's just jealous of your voluptuosity, there is nothing wrong with it, so long as you're not wearing this same outfit to go shopping or drop your kids off at school. Let her know directly that you don't like her remarks, if she is a friend, she will lay off.

If you are comfortable with yourself, be confident about it. In other countries you wouldn't be wearing a top at all! But if you are wanting to fit in with an elite group of prudes, by all means cover yourself.
Seriously, you know she is jealous and afraid you are getting too much attention. To her it's an unfair advantage. Be who you are and don't feel bad about her attempts to control you.

First you got to ask your self how good of a friend this person is second off you really need to do your own thinking.Do you think that you dress inapprioately? And as far as my first comment was concerned I meant partly If there comments where either jealousy or actual concern? But either way do your own thinking

Could be your friend is just jealous. I am 56 and get told dont dress my age, blut then to look at me you have no idea how old I am. Your stlye of dressing is a way of expressing yourself. Dont expect others to do it, just enjoy the freedom you have to be yourself.

wear what you want to wear.
your life is not over when youre 33
she may not be as comfortable with her body as you are.
if you have the body, show it.
you dont have to dress like a nun at 33.
youre still young!
