Once the kids are gone, why should a man stay tied to a woman for the rest of his life?

For years women have prided themselves on being able to work and take care of a home....why not let them.

For the most part all most men have done it all too in the last few generations [except actually give birth]

i was with a man for four years and we were enganged and we had a house and were trying for a baby, then he got distant from me. he would ignore me at times, until one day he turned around to me and said that he has never loved me. call me crazy but was it just lust or did he fall out of love with me. i dont care now as i have a very loving partner and i hate my ex for being like that but i want to know everyones point of veiw? lust or love??

First, I would like to say that I have the most wonderful gf in the world. I love her more than anything; she makes me smile and just makes the world beautiful, I feel complete when I'm with her. But she does get terribly jealous, at first I sorta liked it; everone likes to be wanted, but its getting out of hand. She doesn't accuse me of anything, I have never done anything to make her doubt me, but she turns on just about evry girl that comes into contact with me. Lately it was her best friend! Who I am only around when she is. I mean, even ridiculous things like girls way younger than me or ones that I am in no way attracted to. She thinks they are all out to get me or "steal me away". I love her and would never leave her, thats all she needs to be concerned about. How can I make her understand this?

How can I stop complaining, and fussing and ridiculing my husband for every single thing that he does! I'm scared that I'm going to make him hate me. He is out here working 6 days a week for me and our 5 kids, while I stay home all day resting because I am 5 months pregnant with twins. Because I'm not working, money is really tight, which I'm stressed out about. I fuss about his way of paying bills, rent, giving money to the church, and everything that I feel could possibly hinder us in the long run. No matter how much he makes, I still find something wrong, and end up being miserable. He tells me that I am breaking him down, and that I make him feel less than a man. Please help! How can I hide my dissapointment and anger at his decisions? How can I mask my sadness when I feel as though we are going to have to scramble to feed the kids?

i've done what the court said to do and it turned out that they had court with out me. being served. i use to have an every weekend visit but one time i picked him up i pulled him out of a bed of garbage and walked in to a drug deal and i told her she better have it cleaned up or i would have our child. the biggest mistake of my life . there isnt a day that goes by that i dont think of him i had to take down all his pics cause it was driveing me nuts. sorry i live in the same state but different county and about 45 min away from the court house i work full time does anyone know how or what i can file to make it where i have to be present or there is no court. cvause they keep haveing court with out properly serving me and then its just hear say its bs

I've been living with my bf for about 3 months now and I've been doing the wifely things like laundry and cleaning. Yesterday I did all of our laundry, cleaned his room top to bottom..did the whole nine yards. I worked on those 2 things for about 2 hours. Then he has like this "junk room" that he and his mom kinda just throw stuff in..it was horrible and it irks me. So I came in here and worked about 3 more hours cleaning this room after he went to bed at 8:30 at night. I mean, I completely threw away all the trash, put stuff away, organized things, dusted the furniture and vaccuumed and EVERYTHING! Then when I went to bed at midnight, I didn't tell him..I was just gonna let it be a surprise. When he got up this morning to use the computer in here, he didn't say one word and that kind of put me off. I mean not even a "Holy sh*t! You cleaned this room!"? Do you think I'm overreacting when I want some gratification of all this work I did yesterday?
