Not all women are shy. There are shy men as well that don't come on strong initially with women. I think it's more human nature to overall be weary of new people.
If you find that women don't come on to you, maybe you're just not physically attractive to have women make the first move. If you're personality is good, then you make the move and they might happen to like you...

You may be very intimidating to women (you may be totally hot). Make them feel comfortable by initiating the conversation.
I'm 39 and have noticed over the past 20 years that women have become much less shy which I think is great!

Not all women are like that. Some women can speak to a guy quite easily and some are too shy. I speak to guys more easily than what i do with girls. Most of my friends are guys.

Maybe its you yourself that is shy and feel that no women are talking to you because of that. Be assertive.

i think you are being ridiculous,,,if women are afraid to talk to men,dating should not be popular,,or maybe some women are afraid because they had bad experiences with some stupid men....

They not, it's just that some chicks feel insecure about themselves and so expect the dudes to give them a hard time for acceptance. Same pathetic excuse you guys have when you can't talk to a sexy chick.

Many are neurotic and insecure. Additionally, women like to fantasize about things in their head. They often find these "fantasies" preferable to reality, and they are in denial.
