you respectfully do not tell them in case the other is not what ya think but least back off so you dont get disease and tell the person 1st one, that you are getting to serious.. or your not happy but its is nicer to say you need to back away for time..and need a break.. not ready which apparently you are not ready.. so.. then if u decide you want back in their life hopefully they havent moved on but you have to not see both..old saying .. light the candle at both ends and you will lose both.. not fair not wise and it hurts all invovled too.. dont be piggy

If you find another lover, you need to let your first partner go....a good person doesn't keep someone else "stashed" in case things go sour.....be mature about it
