well since school has ended none of my friends even call me anymore i dont even talk to them they dont even try to talk to be unless its on myspace what should i do?

I''m a recovering alcoholic and and have no social life anymore. I can't seem to make any friends at all in AA, and I don't think I will ever get over my ex-girlfriend unless I start dating someone else.

I've tried MATCH.COM and another site, but I always get the same answer, sometimes immediately. Either women:

1. Just don't want to date anyone that's a recovering addict/alcoholic.

2. Don't want to date anyone that doesn't drink.

I was just hoping someone could tell me why?

I'm 45, single, live alone and a pretty nice guy. Women in recovery generally don't date men in recovery. I don't think i'll ever find a wife.

It's been a few years now, and I find myself so lonely that I think of suicide alot.

It seems like they love my brother more than me. They're always going to his games, they show up while he's at work, they make him lunch everyday, they always invite him along to the movies with them. And I feel like I'm getting kicked to the curb. It's like, just because my brother is retarded, they give him more attention than me. But I don't think it's fair because he's gonna live with them forever and I'm going to be moving out as soon as I'm done with college. They'll have all the time in the world with him. I feel like I'm being ignored by my parents just because I don't have the mind of a 5 year old.

Is there something I can do to get them to love me more? I'm gonna be more valuable to them when they're dying, shouldn't they respect that and cater more to ME than my waterhead bro?

i'm seriously bothered by something i've noticed in most women, not all but most of us.
women claim they want-love, attention, care, trust, Honesty, security, they all want to be appreciated, shown romance(yáll know what i'm talkin about) etc but then given options between dating a good guy(you know the kind of guys, sweet, honest, kind, thoughtful, gives you the kind of attention you want and even more,in other words, the boring kind of guy! do i need to go on?) and the bad boy type(charming, crazy, fun to be with, drop dead gorgeous, makes your heart miss a beat by just a smile or look(ahhhhhhhhhhh!) kind of guy, you see most women breaking their hearts over the bad boy! why's this?

we all know with the good guy, u get security, u get romance and more, the bad boy type promises he'll call, but while you are waiting for his call, he's out breaking another girl's heart, while the good guy calls and checks up on you every minute to know if his "angel" is ok! my God! this bugs me bad and i want to know because i think i've got that ailment too, u know the type of ailment u have when you're craving for a snack, u've got all kinds of fruits in your fridge but you just got to have that bar of bounty or mars, knowin that the fruits will be of more good to your health than the chocolate bar! whats wrong with us? do you think its a sickness in our minds ? that in a sick way, we crave punishment?

i believe in god and jesus.
i consider myself to be a christian., but most weeks i totally dont feel a strong desire to attend church.
some nites i read my bible..i think sunday i will go..when saturday gets here..ive changed my mind!!
today is wednesday..yesterday i planed to go..today..no desire.
as a believer in god/jesus..this doesnt seem natural !!! what do u feel is wrong?

i used to sing at church before my mom died of alsheimers..she was my support team.
my hubby want go to church..says he doesnt trust preachers..so many bad ones..chasing women etc.

I am 20 and have yet to start and I want too...but! I have a problem. I live with my father have no job, I go to the local community college and have a internship to help a republican run for state rep. I also have poor social skills and wimp out around women. 2 weeks ago we slept togeather the night before. Got up early in the morning and played with our 18m old son, made plans for the day after I got off work, made dinner plans and as I was leaving she told me that I was the best thing that ever came into her life. I thanked her and kissed her and told her how special she was. When I got home 4 hrs later I found her engagement ring, her phone, and a note telling me that the vehicle that I bought her would be back in a couple of days. As I looked around our home all of her things are still there. Even her shoes which are still setting in the same place as the night before where she took them off. All she took was her toothbrush and our son. 4 days later i find her with her x-husband, who by the way abused her in the past, and now when I ask why all I get is "I don't know" I love you. I told her that we need to meet so that I can get some closeur and she said ok. Do I take her back? What do I do?

This guy I work with has asked me 3 questions about work. Each time I haven't known the answer. I thought he had stopped but again he asked me a question. It wasn't something he had to know at that moment. He could've waited to ask my boss the next day. Is he trying to humiliate me? Or just trying to buy time. There's a girl He's always looking at. But she wasn't even around. But maybe he thought if he wasted a few minutes, she appear, or walk by or something. That's the only thing I can think of. Would you keep asking someone if they were kind of shy and didn't know. He doesn't seem like a mean person at all. Please give me some advice on what you think.
