My late Great Grandmother wrote a Christmas check ($15) for my husband. I recently found the check, and am not quite sure what to do with it. She's dead now, so will the check still clear the bank? It seems weird to ask her daughter what to do...should I just not even worry about the $15, for the family's sake? Should I cash it?? Ack!

Maybe I should clarify a few things. My husband works 2 jobs because he doesn't like doing the family thing. I am a full time nursing student and mom (so I actually have a 24/7 full time job). We have 5 children. A 16 year old whose mom left when he was 18 months old, that has no respect for me or anyone else in this house except his dad; he is here with me ALL the time day in day out, a 9 year old that I pick up, take care of by myself and take home every WED and every other weekend, then there are two boys ages 8 & 7 and a little girl age 5 that are here all the time. I have done the single mom with 3 kids thing because their dad is a piece of ****. My husband loves all of us I am sure but I didn't get remarried to be alone. I am VERY aware my blessings and thank God for them every day. I hardly think that birth control is a rational answer(to the smartasses), I wouldn't take anything for any of the kids. My question was how do deal with being unappreciated and alone?!!!!

What age do you think is good for a girl to wear thongs. My daughter is 13 and will only wear thongs. She dosent flaunt them and unless her shorts slip down you wouldnt know it. Some of her cousins who was over for the summer hurt her feelings and told her only wh***s wore them or strippers. Do you think 13 is too young for thongs? What would you do in my position

Okay, my next door neighbor Andrea is so desperate she even asked me for help, I'm 13 she's 24. Okay here's how it goes, she has three kids and her baby daddy in jail. She was messin around with the kids uncle Jeleo. And sometimes her youngest kid Andre even calls him daddy. And one of her twins knows that she ''messes '' with him. Jeleo has kids, a wife and a girlfriend, a heart condition, no home, no car and no job. She is 24 and he is 38, she knew about all that and gave him the keys to her apartment.

Jeleo's wife found out about it and even thought she didn't like Andrea's baby daddy Mike, she did all she could to contact him in jail and tell him about it. Once he knew him and a bunch of other people her called on the phone and asked her about it, she didn't say anything so Mike told him grandmother to hang up. Mike is Jeleo's nephew. The family invited Andrea and Jeleo to the family reunion and they treated her badly. She wants to know what she should do now?

My boyfriend of 6 years walked out on me and our 4 year old son a few weeks ago,i`m still heartbroken but people are telling me just to put on a brave face when he`s visiting our son,so when i was speaking to him on the phone at the weekend i was acting all confident and happy so he now thinks i`m over him.Should i keep up the pretence,when deep down my heart is still breaking?I`ve been told that if he see`s a new confident happy person he`ll realise i`m not the same wreck that he left and may fall back in love with this new me,but i`m not so sure.I have grown in confidence these last few weeks as i`ve had to stand on my own to feet for the first time in my life and be the adult in the house for a change.So do i carry on with the pretence or let him know i`m still love with him and still really upset??I`ve been told i have nothing to lose in trying this but what if it doesn`t turn out as i hope?help!!

Okay, i'm 13 (no sex predator come after me) and i've beengoing to a public school. I moved to this town 3 years ago, and made loads of friends and had a few crushes. My ex and I broke up a few months ago. I dumped him, but I think it was all a setup because I later found out he was dating this other girl. Anyways, he and I were in love. We were together for nearly three years, until this female came into the picture. After that, I was still all over him and I was trying to get him to come back with me. I couldn't even let him be, because my feelings for him were quite strong! Well, they aren't together anymore, but they are still friends (not with benefits; just hang out a lot); and he and I are just friends. Well, lately I have been letting him be. I have been giving him his space and I don't stalk him or blow up his phone. When he ignores my texts or calls, I don't cuss him out like before. I don't know if he sees it, though. I feel like he is taking advantage of it and because I don't push him to communicate with me, he doesn't at ALL! What should I do? I raised my daughter as a single dad, so I always put it down after peeing. But now she's grown and married. The guy i like is a grade older than me. He goes to my school as well. My problem is that i don't feel he likes me the same way anymore. I feel like just saying "Never mind you" but i can't until i know he doesn't like me. Im a shy girl and i get nervous very easily. When this guy and I were getting back from the movies I sort of said something i didn't mean to say...he didn't talk to me for two weeks. It's been a month or so now and I want to tell him that I didn't mean what I said. Should I? Or should I just leave it?
