Listen to Phillip B. See if you can talk your dad into doing something you'll both enjoy now and then. You could go to the movies, or walk in the rain, or go out for a burger, anything. Just let him know you'd like some special time with him. You may have to ask him several times.
But for heaven's sake, don't whine and complain that he likes your brothers better. A dad (or mom) simply cannot prove to you that you're wrong if you don't believe it. I wouldn't spend much time with a kid who thought I was terrible, would you?
Besides, your brothers probably think he likes YOU better!

Your dad probably knows how to handle boys better and probably has no clue as to how to be around a girl. I am sure he loves you and does not hate you, but some men are just stupid that way. My dad is like that. I was never the frilly, sissy, obedient girl he thought I should be (like he grew up with in his family) but I was like my Mom - spirited, climbed trees, tomboy and active. He just did not know how to deal with me.
It is natural for a Dad to do things with his boys and the mother to do things with the girls. Is your Mom in the picture? If not, is there a female you can bond with? Triust me, your dad does not hate you. He just doesn't know how to talk to a girl. It's an affliction many men have. Poor guys. Makes you wonder how you ever got herein the first place, huh?

First of all, you should know how to spell "does"-maybe that is one of the reasons why he is hateful towards you. Your dad couldn't hate you, but he is probably dissapointed in you for some of your actions. So, stop being a loser and get your *** on track and stop whining about this ****. How old are you, anyways? If you think he likes your brother more, than maybe you should look at what your brother is doing right!

Look at it this way.
If he hates you, you wouldn't be here asking this question.
You wouldn't have an internet connection, you wouldn't have a computer, heck, you wouldn't even have your fingers.
No, he doesn't hate you. It's just that you're a girl. Your brother's a boy. Your father's a man. It's only natural that man (with their foolish pride and all) have difficulty dealing with girls. (especially their baby girl) They find it easier talking with boys.
Question is, why did you think he hates you?
True, men (fathers, whatever) have bad communication skills with their daughter (I know my father does). He doesn't hate you, he just feels awkward around you.
Here's what you can do. You can try your best to make him comfortable around you. Talk to him a lot. He's your father, for pete's sake. Maybe he would reply coldly, (my father did) but don't take it to heart and try again, and again, and again and again.
And NO PARENTS EVER HATE THEIR OWN FLESH AND BLOOD. It's all in your mind, honey.

sometime dad's have an easier time communicating with the boys then the girls. It may not be that he doens't like you, but instead he just doesn't know how to communicate with you, and over time this has given way to frustration, whihc he may subconsciously take out on you.

Your dad doesn't hate you he just may not show it the same way. You should try and have activities with just you and your dad so you can spend some time together one on one.

trust me he doesnt hate u he just doesnt know how 2 deal with females.
my dad is the same exact way and i just ignore him and now he wants a father duaghter relationship.
the key is when ur father realizes u dont care. he'll b all over u. its a mind game all fathers and guys try to play them. but once they realize ur not going 4 it they'll stop the ******.

Becuase you're obviously not the favourite. Honestly, some dad's have more fun hanging with thier sons, it's a guy thing. daughters and mom's do thier thing, if you don't have a mother then you're screwed.

Baby you're young...I'm sure your daddy doesn't hate you. If you can't talk to him, talk to your mom or your grandparents. Let them know how you feel. I'm sure you're misunderstanding his intentions.
And, on a side note, sometimes fathers do more with their sons...it's a man thing. Don't be offended by that.
