so wat people make fun of my name once a while but who cares cuz my name makes me diffrent there are no other ******** walking around and at least ppl wont get me mistaken for someone else. and plsu everyone has their flaws if urs is ur name then u should be lucky cuz their are worse options to be made fun of about

Pleaasseee!!! My maiden name was Bacan, prounced, bacon, as in the breakfast meat. From the time I was in 1st or 2nd grade until HIGH SCHOOL, yes, I repeat HIGH SCHOOL, people made fun of my name!!!! I cried when I was a little girl, I couldn't understand why people would be so cruel as I would never (and have never) made fun of anyone, let alone make fun of their name!! By the time I got to sophomore year in high school I tried not to react, as I found people would only keep on IF they got a rise out of me. So what I will tell you is NOT to react. Don't let them see you sweat, get mad, cry, etc. It only makes things worse. If I was around someone who routinely made fun of my name, I would do it prior to them doing it. Example: There was this one girl who used to say something lame about my name every time she saw me, so what I would do is say, "yeah, yeah, I want some eggs with my bacon" (that is what she used to say). I took all the fun (for her) out of it. Years later I found out that her boyfriend had a huge crush on me and she was jealous. So there!!! Keep your head up sweetie and keep on keepin' on.

I would give them one of my you are to stupid for words looks. If that doesn't help you could say "you know so and so....every time you open your mouth your brain falls out". Or... why don't you try being original and say something I haven't heard before! Or....give the person a....you really are a jackass look and walk away. If the person is a friend...you might try telling them it hurts when they make fun. Or....if you are really gutsy and absolutely at your wits end...give the person a good whack in the nose!

Making fun of a name is nothing to be concerned about, it is one of the two gifts YOUR MOTHER gave you when you were born!
LIFE and your NAME . WELL sometimes the father picks out your name but it is a special gift and do not let anyone bother you about it when they KNOW it bothers you the SICK-os keep doing it...
They try to make More and more of a game out of it...
Just walk away and do not CARE about it at ALL!
I PROMISE someday you will grow into it and LOVE your name!

my name has been made fun of and I didn't really care I just shrugged it off cause eventually I had a reason to make fun of them

yeah, well I get it all the time. Being a female and my name is Jeri it didn't go well with others like in school and ****. So I'm basically used to it by now

I had an embarrasing maiden name. While I got teased alot, especially during high school, I tried to ignore them. They ended up looking like idiots, not me!

I was called Fatty Cathy when I was younger. The comic stip didn't help either. I personally just ignored them and went on with my business.
If you react to them, then they know that it's causeing problems and they will just keep on doing it.

I would laugh with them and maybe make up a nickname for myself. Have a sense of humor and who cares what people say?
