My ex and I broke up a few months ago. I dumped him, but I think it was all a setup because I later found out he was dating this other girl. Anyways, he and I were in love. We were together for nearly three years, until this female came into the picture. After that, I was still all over him and I was trying to get him to come back with me. I couldn't even let him be, because my feelings for him were quite strong! Well, they aren't together anymore, but they are still friends (not with benefits; just hang out a lot); and he and I are just friends. Well, lately I have been letting him be. I have been giving him his space and I don't stalk him or blow up his phone. When he ignores my texts or calls, I don't cuss him out like before. I don't know if he sees it, though. I feel like he is taking advantage of it and because I don't push him to communicate with me, he doesn't at ALL! What should I do? Will he ever find himself running back to me in the future, if I keep letting him be? HELP ME

You're already doing the right thing, without going over the top and showing him you're still madly in love with him. He knows you're still interested, but in all honesty, if he's not - then you should simply let it be. If he's not finding you to be a perfect fit in his life, then maybe he'll find someone that it? Granted, this will be very difficult for you. But you know what? There are thousands of other men out there who could prove worthy enough for your love, in fact maybe more deserving of it also! Don't dwell on it, and don't go psycho - as you already suggested you weren't. Find another terrific guy. YES, once you do this he may in fact realize what he has lost, which only leads to another dilemma you'll have on your hands when that time comes... But for now, it's the only way I can see working? You can't possibly force someone to communicate with you if they don't want to! Good luck - stay strong!

He doesn't have to communicate with you. You are no longer together. You were in love? He was seeing someone else! That isn't love! Move on. Kick his a s s to the curb, he doesn't deserve your friendship or your tears.
