I am a 35 yo female, I divorced in 98 and I have finally found the man of my dreams! We have been together almost a year. His dream is to go to law school and he was finally accepted. We live in WA, he got accepted in PA!! I am madly in love with him, as he is me, but we both know he must do this for himself. We don't want to break up and we don't want a long distance relationship. Does anyone have any advice for my breaking heart?

Well I am going to a friend's birthday party....I don't know her that well, but she invited me so I will be friendly and go. I am just a little nervouse and I am sure there will be alot of teens there. I am kind of shy and I hope I wont get all nervouse or whatever. I am also trying to figure out what to get her too, I just hope nothing bad will happen...any advice on how to stay calm, have a good time, and get to know my new friend better?

Hey guys... thanks for looking at my question. Please answer with anything you think might help. So, here's the deal... I am 19 years old and am a sophomore in college. I am always told how beautiful I am and that I have so much going for me... I'm active in sports, and my school, and have many goals. But here's the problem. I want to be more extroverted. I do just fine with like one other person, so it's not that I lack communication skills. But once another joins, it's like I go quiet. But if it's my really close friends, I can be all crazy and talkative and MYSELF. Around people I don't know, I don't do so well. I want to know how to be more sure of myself to be able to just walk up to people and start a conversation! I want to join a sorority and I know that I have to get out of my comfort zone. Please help!

my ex and I have been seperated for just about a year. He left me for a woman half his age, now she is pregnant and they are buying a house together. She is only 21 and be mostly responsible for the care of my son. My son sees his dad every weekend but now wants to be with him full time in the new house. when i am in a relationship, i give my man what he wants without being too needy or dependant on him, i take care of him every way i know how,i am there for the good and the bad times.i am not a fighter and i don't like drama, nor do i like to argue, and i can be submissive at times when i need to be. i love him unconditionally and i am very upfront, honest and open with, but he feels like he has to lie and cheat on me, why are men like this,is there something wrong with me; i am very attractive woman(or so they tell me), but he still feels like there is something more he needs, WHY?, so could you please tell me what is wrong with the men today, why can't they just be with the one they claim to love?, any advice is greatly appreciated.

Ok, my boyfriend used to be a typical male, looked at other girls, told me I should dye my hair, lose weight ect. Then we fought over it for a long time, made me cry lost of times and I even left him for a few days. That all happened like 3 months ago NOW he says that he was an idiot and that since I was his first real g/f he really didnt know what to do. He felt so bad he cried (he HATES to cry) he hurt himself, he even got me a $300 ring. Now he says that he HATES other girls and he loves me just the way I am. He said he dont even care to look at other girls, he wishes there were NO other girls around. what do you think? Has he really changed? Is it EVEN POSSIBLE for a male to NOT care to look at other women? We've been together for 9 months and wanna get married. I can see a visible change in personality, but Im nervous to belive that he NEVER looks at a "sexy" chick even if she had everything he wanted "before he changed" some please help! maybe its just me and the 'difficult age' i am going through, but it feels like since i am russian, i am so different from people that were born and raised in the usa. like the types of friendships people have here with each other than there.

I really going bonkers with this stupid china man!!! I already gave him a cold shoulder, but I dunno why he still keeps trying to chat me up!!!
