Hello ladies,

If you were reading online personals and the man's personal ad included "I am very ticklish!", would that be a plus, a minus or a meaningless remark to you?

and found that she had emailed him, too. He lives halfway across the country, but we're moving near there in two months. When I confronted her about it, she said "Oh, I looked him up a long time ago, it's nothing." When I told her I knew from the browser "History" that it was the day before, she became teary. She claims that nothing bad was happening, and that she just wanted to say hi to him. Our relationship has been very good, with normal ups and downs, but I am a very supportive/understanding husband. She told me that she lied because she didn't want me to think anything was happening (backfired, eh?).

My question is, what to think of this. Should I be concerned about moving to the ex's territory? Should I "forbid" any future contact? If it was just innocent, than I would hate to be "that guy" that controls his wife. Women, can this scenario be "innocent"?

He went out to the grocery store 5 years ago and never came back. Momma says I look handsome just like him. If you see him tell him to come home, I'm hungry.

Okay, so basically this is what it is. My boyfriend and I have been in this relationship for a little more than five years. It's a long distance relationship. And we're both in love and happy, etc. The problem, however, is with me.

I'm not normally a jealous person. My boyfriend does these things like playing Halo long hours with his buddies or going out with friends, etc, and I don't mind one bit. I realize that we should both do stuff we like to do on our own and I'm fine with that. So I'm not possessive, or anything.

But I hate it when he so much as calls another woman attractive. I know it's human nature to find other people attractive even while you're with someone. But I'm still jealous. And I even know why I'm jealous: my own insecurities. I know he loves me and that he would never cheat on me. He's been asked out before and he's stayed loyal to me despite all that. Then what is my problem? This jealousy is ruining my life and I know it'll ruin our relationship one day.

when i tell him to wait as i'm not comfortable enough, he starts complaining that we're not teenagers anymore. isn't that a sign of lack of respect?

She was legally my neice, and my sister has 8 kids, she couldn't take care of all of them. My husband and I found out we couldn't have children, so when my sister expressed the want to give us her youngest child, we thought long and hard about it. We didn't want to pass up what could have been our only chance at being parents. She's two and a half years old now, (she was 14 months old at the time) She knows her brothers and sisters, and my sister and her boyfriend. She's pretty close with them actually. But my sister had another child after her, and I don't want her to hate my sister for giving her up. My sister gets her children removed by child protective services from time to time, as of right now they are all in foster care. My sister is a very neglectful mother. Is there a possiblity that she'll hate me and my husband for "taking her away" from her family, even though we have more love, time, eergy and money to give? Does anyone have a similar experience?
