You can try and talk to her about the reasons why you think she shouldn't be with this person. But....it is her relationship. Good or bad she's made the decision to be with this person. In her mind she must be happy. To bad that she's allowing this guy to influence her to do bad things. Nothing bad against your mom. We all make errors in judgement. Hopefully she'll realize that he's not good for her and move on. Until then the best you can do is be supportive of her and try to get her help with the drugs. I hope you have a good relationship with her because this will work in your favor. Keep in mind that people that are on drugs act differently when they are. Try to talk to her when she hasn't been using and ease into the conversation. Nobody likes being told what to do so treat this one carefully. I wish you luck! I know this can't be easy for you.

For one thing, it depends upon how old you are. If you are kid, she is not going to listen to you, but if you are an adult, she may see you as more of an equal. Either way, you need to enlist the help of other family members: your grandparents, and aunts & uncles and your mom's close friends. If your mom attends church, you should talk to her minister or priest. I would suggest asking all these people to get together to confront your mom with an intervention. If all of you can show your mom how her behavior is negatively affecting others, she may change. If not, you may need to talk to social services and see if you can live with a relative. Your mom may need a harsh wake up call!

All you really can do is voice your feelings and Pray to God that she'll listen. I have been in your shoes more times than I would like to admit and it is a very hurting thing to see a parent go down the wrong path. I personnally prayed for the Lord to Save and Deliver my Mother from her sin and he did just that and I am Happy to announce that she is doing just fine now.

--I am sory you are in this situation, these things can be tricky. All you can do is tell your Mom you love her and that you wish she would stop using. However, some of the most recent studies that I have seen suggest that parents who do just started using, havent' started they been hiding it from their children and then got caught. I wish you luck in all you do. Pray, love and don't start using, drugs are addictive.

Sorry that you have to be the one that "gets it" rather than your Mom. Truth is, it sounds like your Mom, like many parents these days make selfish decisions about their lives without considering the effects on their children. You should calmly explain your feeling and concerns for her. Dont accuse, dont try to embarass her...just explain your concerns.

I assume that he got out of jail?, tell your mom that you don't like this guy and if she wants to continue seeing him you will have to move out(if you live with her) if not you will not be a part of her life untill she stops seeing him.

leave your mother alone shes old enough and from what you say stupid enough to make her own decisions and mistakes..Anyway if shes on drugs she just might die soon so she wont be a problem to you anymore and you might inherit if the stuid cow doesnt spend all her money.
