My son has always lived with is mother and I have paid child support to her. My son is now in his second year of college and has a part time job. He has moved into the dorm. Am I still obligated to pay his mom support. Of course if he needs anything I will help him out in any way.

A friend of mine has come to the belief that he is bisexual, but won't tell anyone because he thinks that no woman would ever want him again.

He also thinks that men who know him will treat him much differently if they know as well. I know from just hanging out with other guy friends that would likely be true. They'll let a gay guy hang out with them, but won't include him in anything serious, and definitely would never have any kind of 'deep' discussion with them.

Was just wondering what you all think. I've already given my opinion.

How much harder would it be for him to find a serious relationship leading to marrige with a woman?

I have a 4 yr old girl who doesn't listen to me. if I take her out shopping she takes off, talks to anyone and everyone. She won't come back to me and pretends that she is lost. ie, she will go around the corner from where I am and tell whoever is there if they have seen her mum becuase she can't find me, I am standing like 3 metres from her. At home, she does stuff regardless of what I tell her, I have tried the 'naughty corner', a merit system, sending her to her room, taking things away from her, smaking, and nothing works, she just doesn't care. I am at an absolute loss. On the other hand, it is a completely different matter when her Dad is around. She does everything he says. What can I do. I am at the point that I don't want to take her anywhere in case someone snatches her or something, but I can't leave her home by herself. I would leave her with her Dad, but he works long hours and isn't home when I need to go out. Please help. Kelly

IF you had a mother-in-law that treated you like $hit, but has to depend on you for everything in her oxygen needed life or would you step on her cord and end your misery.My hubby knows but is not doing a damn thing, and if she gives me one more look and act shitty towards me, the next time she needs her oxyegen or asthma inhaler, I feel so bad for her...NOT. My daughter has refused to have a relationship with me since my wife and I separated 6 years ago (divorced 2 years). I have a reasonable relationship with my youngest daughter and my oldest son. We had a wonderful conversation a month ago but afterward she let me know she didn't want to talk to me anymore bc I had advised her on something during the conversation and she didn't want my advice. I can't get her to talk to me even to talk about what the problem is. I have a sense that she looks for problems and keeps a list of grudges. She is very close to my exwife with all kinds of loveydovey girly stuff between them. Too close in my opinion.
Over the past 6 years the relationship has moved between cordial (she will say hello, acknowledge my presence) to downright rude and obnoxious.
The strange thing is that this girl is the most like me in my family: fun loving, artistic, outgoing, enthusiastic, etc. I love her so much.

When people say "go out", do they just mean bars and clubs?and what's your definition of "goin out"?

A female friend (good-looking, succesful) of mine told me, that girls (quality girls) pretty much go to bars and clubs to enjoy themselves with her girl or guy friends , not to get picked up by random guys & that u can never find a guy/girl there worth ur time in a bar or a club. True?


So my question is, why do girls go to bars/clubs, if it's just to talk with friends, wouldn't it be better in a coffee shop or a nice restaurant?
and y do guys go there?

It just seem very stupid to me, girls go there NOT to get picked up, guys go there TO pick up, it's like a losing battle? hehe

I'm 21, still young, but it seems ppl. around my age all likes to go to clubs/bars, but I would much rather know girls from a tennis club or classes, and take her out on a nice dinner and get to know her, than girls from bars/clubs, because they don't seem to be worth my time.
