Please ignore the idiotic answers above - it always happens. I have two suggestions. The first would be to sign up to be a foster parent in your state. I know many people who have become adoptive parents in that way. Of course, there is always the chance that the birth mother or father will come around to challenge the adoption. That is why many people opt for foreign adoptions from countries such as Russia, the Ukraine, etc. Children there have been left by parents who live in desperate poverty and the adoptions are definitely final. Foreign adoptions take some money though.
