It's not wrong to get someone you care about a gift.
But my friend though, she spend a lot of money on her boyfriend, pretty much buys all his clothes, playstation, xbox and she is definitely not rich. i think that's going too far.

it is always wrong to "expect" a present. present are given out of love and caring. if you expect it, it is greed and disrespectful.
