Features I look for in a girl include the ability to carry on an intelligent conversation (together with a sense of humor). I have no problem with a woman who may be smarter than me. I have a BS, MS and a JD as book credentials but there's more to intelligence than book smarts.

Some guys are turned off by women who are smarter than them, and to the person who said this, you are not stupid or ugly.
The kind of men that are turned off by women who are smarter than them are highly insecure, and folks, men like this do exist. While this is not the "norm" it is just a personality flaw some men have.
Controling men also are very scared of a smart strong woman, because they are not able to control these types as easily. Usually these women are not the types to act passively, or when someone does something wrong they just ignore it. I am speaking from experience because my father was like that to my mother and I. He was very intimidated by the fact we were strong smart women. Not that my father himself was stupid by any means. It just meant that he wouldn't get away with controlling us as easily.
I also had an ex boyfriend who was very intimidated by my intellect, and he got mad and jealous once and very sarcastic and said "ok Miss Smarty Pants". While I was not trying to sound like a knowitall, he asked me what something was and he got all mad at me because he didn't know what it was! Wasn't my fault, I thought I was being helpful by answering his question.
Men who are turned off by smart women tend to be chauvanistic pigs. But I think you will find that most men nowadays appreciate an independent, smart and sassy gal. Good question!!

Imagine a guy who is smarter than you.... and he never lets you forget it.
Now imagine a guy who is smarter than you.... and the subject never comes up because you are both in love.
Which relationship would you rather be in?
I'm sure men would answer the same as you.

I'd count myself very fortunate to find one who was. Talk about challenging, and fun. She'd keep one on his toes, that's for sure.

Stop asking stupid questions. No one wants you because you are ugly and probably stupid. Not because you are too smart, tall and a redhead.
