Neither one of us is getting any younger. I know this is what i want. how can I get him serious about us i'm not going to keep waiting around. once i'm done with school (he has his diploma and I am going for 2 BS and a MS). I am supporting him to go to school and look towards our future. I am not perfect but, I know in my hearts of hearts we are perfect. My family loves him, his mom loves me why cant he see that. I dont want the games, I don't want to play hard to get. We flow that should be enough.

My girlfriend of 2 years still talks to her ex of 4 years. At the beginning of our relationship, I wasn't comfortable with it and she had stopped. Later on, she started talking to him again and explained to me that they were doing so only as friends. Recently, I had asked her if I could meet him and she had told me that both he and she are not comfortable with that (not now atleast)... I don't keep in contact with any of my ex's, but if I did I wouldn't be shy to let her meet them. She tells me there are no feelings lingering, but why so hesitant for me to meet a friend? I know all of her friends, but why not him? Something still going on?

I would like to know if there's anyone else out there who has had their life changed drastically over a short period of time.
This is what happened to me over one year's time:
January 19, 2005 -- Started dating the love of my life
April 13, 2005 -- He proposed!
April 16, 2005 -- Surprise--Got pregnant! (Took the test May 8--Mother's Day)
That summer we moved from Arizona to Mississippi so I could be with my grandmother (who died October 29, 2005...I am so grateful I was able to spend those last few months with her)
October 13, 2005 -- It's a boy! Yes! I knew I'd get my boy!
November 16, 2005 -- We got married!
January 18, 2006 -- Our baby boy, Elijah, was born

So, it was actually one day less than a year. Everything happened so fast, and now our lives are so different...and we couldn't be happier.
If you have anything to share or would like to comment, I'd love to hear it.

I have it was funny an that look on his face was priceless well him an I had just broken up a week ago an I had his brother that really liked me kiss me while we were in his room an then he walked in on us. Don't get me wrong, this guy cheated on me with two other girls, an I liked his nice gentelmen of a brother that would do anything for me so it ended up working out al least for now between us. But the look on his face priceless revenge was sweet an we just kept on kissing.

ok after dinner last night, me and the guy im dating ended up at his place.....and im sure u can guess what happened next. In the middle of having sex, he said "i love you" and as a responce (i think so it wouldnt get awkward) i said i love you too, but i dont love him. I dont know if he loves me either, maybe he was just saying it?

This morning i got him off before he went to work, and everything was normal. Should i just not worry about it?

My best friend, it seems like, is so much better than me! When ever I say anything only SLIGHTLY wrong, she corrects me with the precise answer. She's better at sports than me, too. Whenever I start a new activity, she does it too, and proves that she's better than me at it. We've been best friends ever since the first grade! HELP!!!

my step dad does drugs and is verbally abusive towards my mother and me. i know he doesnt mean to be that way, but it hurts me and my mother. i dont think he has ever hit my mom or anything, but he does hurt her feelings alot. i moved in with them a few days ago, so that maybe he would take his aggression out on me. I am married to a man who is a hard working, smart individual. He says he loves me very much, but he is killing me inside. He is the type person who is always looking ahead...always trying to plan for the future. While this is a great thing to do, I seem to always get the short end of the stick during the transition. I love being able to stay at home with my kids, but I am ready to go back to work and regain some independence. But every time I try to do this, my ideas seem to get shot down. I am losing faith in myself and spiraling further and further into a depression. We fight all the time and have had problems like this since we got married 4 years ago. Although he always says it's temporary, I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel.
So I guess my question is, how long is too long? When do I say it's enough?

I've been dateing this guy for a month now and he has been staying with me. He treats me really good but for some reason I always find a reason to ***** at him. He says I always try to fight with him but I never really mean to. I dont want to to lose him. We have been friends for years and I dont want to rune us.
