I am 25, he is 36. And since he told me he has either totally avoided me or has been acting strange. I told him that I loved him too. He suffers from mild depression, I thought that might be a part of it. I called him a few days ago to see if he was okay, but he couldn't talk right then and firmly told me that he would call me later. I am still waiting. He works 80+ hours, 6 days a week, so normally we only talk on his day off. He is old-fashioned (i.e. he likes to pursue) so I do not know how to proceed. I want to call him again, but since he is old-fashioned I don't know what is appropriate. What do you recommend I do?

People ask me all the time am I indian, pakistani, arab,or from the islands etc or do I have indian ancestors. But everyone in my family looks black and have black features. I look different from the rest of my family (we are black) and I dont really have any of my parents or grandparents features.

I have a crush on 2 boys. (I AM a girl, BTW) Boy #1 doesn't know I am crushing on him, and neither does boy #2. I haven't had the guts to tell them. Let me give you a little info about each.

Crush 1 is into sports and is VERY handsome. He is seventeen- a year and a half older than me. He is extremely polite and very respectful of authority. He dresses cool, but always is modest. I have only talked to him a couple of times and that was just to say hi. I like him because he is a Christian like me and I like his looks.

Crush 2 is pretty popular too, but is a little on the nerd side. I have talked to him a couple of times, and he is very nice to me. He, like crush #1 is modest and cool in dress and manner. He is a good listener and has a really great sense of humor. I like him because he is nice to me, is a Christian, and makes me feel good about myself and he brings out the best in me.

So i like this guy...alot. And I thought we really liked eachother. But...I have been hearing alotta stuff, like... my best friend just told me he liked her. And i "warned" him that he would like her the second he saw/talked to her. So i was really pissed about that. HE is 3 years older to.. Should i care if i like him that much? My six year old has had to deal with death and loss before. She understands that everything that lives also dies. She actually grasps that concept more than most six year olds that I know. However in the past we have always had warning and it has always been in a situation where she knows the person. If you saw my other post you will know that I just found out today about a death that happened in October. I do not know how to explain to my daughter that this person I have told her so much about and that I know would have loved her never got the chance to know her. That her grandmother that she has heard stories about and has looked forward to getting to know is gone and she will never have that chance. I know I have to tell her. I just do not know how to explain this one to her. Its not a matter of explaining death...I have done that before. Its the situation it is in...and so many months later...

My bf is 33 he got married to his childhood sweet heart and she left him for another man. the guy is separated, tells me he is trying to work things out with her..ok that is fine but calls me when i tell him not to, tells me he can't stand her and he thinks of me all the time but wants to try for his son, tells me it is not going to work out and it feels like he is cheating on me when he is there with her, but won't leave her even though their relationship is abusive at times and our relationship is great like best friends. i don't understand how do i accept this? is he keeping me for the " just in case they don't work?" i feel used, hurt pls help
