we had a friend in high school that was kind of like that... thought he was the best at everything, in all reality he was the same as anyone else... so we called him "all the kings horses"... as in "Humpty Dumpty": "all the kings horses, and all the kings men... couldn't put Humpty together again". It was also the most polite way of calling him a horses *** without him suspecting anything...
