my bf of nearly 2 years and i have been really open about our families. im 15 and black- my grandmother thinks he's nice. hes the same age and white- his mom and dad adore me.
but then theres the rest of his family- the ones he doesnt want me to meet. sometimes i think he's ashamed of me/ us, and doesnt want them to know 'he's dating a black girl'. but then he says he's wo rreid about what they might say or do. i tell him not to worry about that cuz im a bigger person than that and i'll let it roll off my shoulder, but he insists that i dont join him at family gatherings.
how should i handle this?
what do you think about our situation?
has anyone gone thorought something similar?

What type of revenge can you inflict on someone that doesn't harm them but really pisses them off? i know that revenge isn't always the answer but i really hate this girl and guy i use to work with and they still work with my best friend and talk such horrible stuff about me and her and i just wish there could be something i can do to really get to them.

I have worked for the past 20 years, non stop, (I'm 35),supporting my family, with the money I worked D@!*&^ hard for. Now the past 4 Months I decided to spend some time at home and go back to school. I have raised a doughter and a son (16&17), and have been there for every career change and move (we have moved about 15 times) that my husband wanted because he was unhappy with his job or his life or whatever the excuse was.
We have always had electricity, water, phone ....even if it was hard at times for me to pay for. They all have thir toys and gadgets and Motorcycles, Now then......Why is it my fault? Why do they act as if I have never done anything for them? There's no food in the house, the bills haven't been paid, but yet the money to do these things with is gone....my husband works, he gets paid, (way more than I ever have) but I guess thats HIS money,right? I Feel Bad....
but at the sme time THIS ANGERS ME!!!!!! AM I WRONG TO BE ANGRY? THEY SAID THEY WOULD HELP!

I keep reading all these questions about young people worrying about if they're preganant and all this. With all the information out there about STD's and pregnancy, why are people still not using protection?? Don't they have sex ed in school anymore? Don't parents talk to their kids about sex anymore? I am in the military and getting ready to go to my permanent assignment in Wyoming. My residence, (and wife) is in Michigan, so I have to file in MI. My dad lived a double life, on one side he was this nice guy, engineer, very accomplished, and all that... but lately we found out that he has had this addiction to alcohol, and other vices and he is so consumed by it now that he's thrown away just about everything, including 40 years of marriage, my mom just couldn't take it any longer.. me and my brothers have tried many things to rehabilitate him and keep our respect towards him, but he's practically turned his back on us, and his life is terribly miserable. He sleeps on the streets, gets beat up by guys that steal his money when he gets his pension, he sleeps with tramps and dirty ho's he's probably got some veneral diseases from them, he stinks and all the rest... yet we can'd do anything... he got out of ever treatment we've arranged for him. is he trying to kill himself??
Anybody has any ideas?

my husband and i have been on the outs for years now.(he is verbally and emotionally abusive and i have been in counseling for five years now) i have tried numerous times to get him to leave but each time he promised to change ,so, about a year ago he convinced me that building a new house would help us start over. well, week after week , i have grown to recent him once again and i cannot imagine moving into the new house to begin a future with him that i do not want. i have been wrenched with anguish over this and i don't think i would've ever said anything but last week he backed me in a corner on where "we" were and i told him that i just cannot stay with him. i told him that he could stay until the house was done and then he could just move out at that time. he
does not want to do that , he says that i am taking what could be a new beginning in a brand new house and ruinning it. he is also saying stuff like " i know your just messed up right now, you're not thinking clear"
