how can i get my fiance to stop yelling in the house so much, so my mom (who we live with) will stop thinking he beat me? He has NEVER hit me, he's my bestfriend, but he's very loud and shouts at times when we're in our bedroom with our door shut, my mom hears him yelling and cussin, and later she YELLS at ME for "putting up with abuse" she will NOT believe the truth. Most of the time he's just yelling at the tv or a video game. But my mom will not stop picking on me over this. I beg my fiance to stop being so loud (giving her reason to think he mistreats me) but he just answers with: "screw your mom i don't care what she thinks, it's none of her business!"

We plan on moving out as soon a possible, but until then my mom is harassing me non stop about this and i've tried in vain to talk calmly to both of them about this.. neither will give in and i'm stuck in the middle.. now my mom is telling other family members that i'm getting treated bad by my fiance. I CAN'T TAKE THIS!

Can Love take a break? If my gf of 7 years told me that she isn't sure about me right now what are my chances?

We have been together since HS im 24 she is 25. We spoke about marriage and life together we made promises to eachother within the past few months. Things are rocky now, she is in her 3rd year of med school and about to take the boards(huge test). it may just be stress, but if she doesn't come around soon i dont know how long i can wait. i am sure she is who i want to be with, why now? why is she confused? I was taken out to lunch on a first date. It was a lovely lunch although both parties seemed slightly nervous and it was a little awkward rather than fluid. Do i text to say thank you or do i text and ask him out on a second date. He was very old fashioned, paid for the date, opened the door as i left but made no inclination that he was interested apart from that and did not mention meeting up again although it was probably just unsaid. After lunch we sat talking for about an hr before he asked for the bill but i still think feel that it was not as great as it could have been and wondered if he is feeling the same and therefore if i shld give him time to ask me out again or give him feedback saying i would like to go out again ie an invite of my own please help? I still have no idea if he is interested.

my man was away visiting his family in another state for a week when he came back we got down to making up for lost time in the middle he stopped and asked me to marry him.
