how can i get my fiance to stop yelling in the house so much, so my mom (who we live with) will stop thinking he beat me? He has NEVER hit me, he's my bestfriend, but he's very loud and shouts at times when we're in our bedroom with our door shut, my mom hears him yelling and cussin, and later she YELLS at ME for "putting up with abuse" she will NOT believe the truth. Most of the time he's just yelling at the tv or a video game. But my mom will not stop picking on me over this. I beg my fiance to stop being so loud (giving her reason to think he mistreats me) but he just answers with: "screw your mom i don't care what she thinks, it's none of her business!"
We plan on moving out as soon a possible, but until then my mom is harassing me non stop about this and i've tried in vain to talk calmly to both of them about this.. neither will give in and i'm stuck in the middle.. now my mom is telling other family members that i'm getting treated bad by my fiance. I CAN'T TAKE THIS!

My fiance also says "grow some balls and tells your mom to shut up"
I just want him to stop yelling and for my mom to stop picking on me over something that ISN'T happening!

Your fiance is disrespecting your mother in her own home. Do you actually think that he is ever going to treat you any better? Wake up and smell the coffee. This guy is lazy and no good.

Tell him to grow up and quit cussing at video games like a child (it's only a game that he can restart) and tell your mom you'll be out of the house soon and that you have no bruises.

get a baseball bat and go to a batting cage...he can't yell if you aren't there...once you get good at hitting the softball...try hitting a baseball that goes slow...once you get good at THAT....invite him to go with you....and subtly tell him....yell at me again..and i will hit you like a baseball....he'll see and respect...THAT YOU CAN AND WOULD!
