Before i dated my ex, he was my best friend. Well when we split we kinda drifted. I want to check in on him, jus a simple "hey. jus seein how u were. Hope everything is good" type thing without makin it akward. Somehting when he reads it , he'll smile and appreciate it. So i am asking if you think it would make me look desperate and such or is there no harm in it. I havent spoken to him in awhile, so if it is alrite to check in on him. I met this great guy who actually lives 5 houses away from me. He has been divorced for 1 year - he is still good friends with his ex-wife (they have 2 children together). We have been seeing eachother for just a few weeks but when I see him, I get butterflys in my stomach! I'm a single mom as well with one child. When is it the right time to say how you are feeling withou scaring him away?
