I broke it off with my son's father almost 5 years ago and I've been single since. I gave up on men for a long time. Now I'd like to start dating again but to be honest, I'm terrified. How do you meet nice guys these days? Where do you go? I never drink, so bars are out. Any suggestions?

She is talking to a guy friend of hers that she has not seen in a long time. Innocent enough right? But she deletes the fact that she has called him on her cell. Also she deletes all text messages from him. When she went out one night she clamed that she was going to a bar near our house but i found out that she went to one that is close to him. And she denied the fact that she did this. I love my wife very much but I'm very conncerend.

We work together very closely on a project. We have become good friends (he invited me to his home to meet his family - kids and wife but didn't invite anyone else from the project team. Does not seem to like when I am talking to someone on the phone (another guy) and seems to be jealous. He is always joking with me andmaking eye contact. Asking me to lunch and dinner all the time.

Cute guy always nice to be in school. (not 2 be cocky i'm not a ugly girl ton of guys would be happy to have gone with me in fact i'm very cute) so senior prom comes up and i just broke up with my boyfriend so i ask this really hot guy i hardly know who has always been really nice when i hung with him.

SO RUDE! RUINONED MY PROM

he didn't talk to me the whole way there he was driving except when he sayed something rude. I just wanted to go 2 post prom after and he told me i had no friends cause i didn't want to go drinking in the woods with some people. When we got there to told me to do my own thing and left and when i would dance with other guys when he didn't want to dance at all he got mad.

Then he told me he had to go home early @ post prom so i made other plans with friends and when it came to that time he wouldn't drive me home and told me to get a CAB! It was my prom i payed $50 for him to go.

I need Revenge! Don't tell me I don't what do I do???

I NEED IT!!!!!!!

I know it's natural to be very excited that you are getting married... but the bridal avatar? Using a bridal pic on myspace? The whole "Mrs./whoeverswife/baby/girl" screen name thing?
I love my husband, but I am not soley a wife I'm my own person with a lot more to talk about. When I wanted to go bridal, I did it on theknot.com... not for the general pop.
Does anyone else think it's a tad odd to wrap your whole identity up into being a bride??

hi, i am 23 and engaged to this guy, and i am pregnant with his child, but i am extremely unhappy. i honestly dont know what to do. he has HUGE anger problems and gets pissed off over everything. i get b*tchy sometimes, but my hormones are going crazy and i try to control them! but we fight every day and he is always talks down to me. i dont even know if i really want to marry him. does that make me a bad person? is it ok to call off the wedding even though i am pregnant? or do i just marry him for the sake of the child?

My ex has supervision for our child. my child is scared and wants me to come, and I have decided i will for my child. If I don't take him social services will do the supervised visits as no-one else who knows him is willing to do it. My child is to scared to have strangers take him.

I have to take my son tonight to Pizza Hut and we will see his dad there. The thing is his dad is verbal and emotionally and mentally abusive. When I am with him I lose my identity and become confused about who I am. I feel bad and uncapable of life. It takes my 4 days of medtiation and prayer to get my confidence up after I see him.

How can I go there and remain mentally in a good place? And leave feeling confident about myself. How do I do this and take care of my child at the same time?

My son's father was VERY abusive to all of us.My oldest has ALOT of agner and hate towards him. It comes out in hitting his younger brother and pushing me. He was kicked out of school for 3 days because he punshed a girl in the eye.My oldest is only 6years old.I have put him in counseling and that seems to help out. But some days he is even worse then the day befor. I am going thru court getting custody and child support. His father want to have both my kids for the whole summer and alot of holidays. The counselor I take my oldest to has already said "HELL NO"
Only supervised visits. How can I make my son understand that he wont be hurt anymore.

I had to end a relationship with a man who was in actuallity very good to me personally. I was the first black lady he had ever dated. As a matter of fact he proposed and I had to decline. If I had accepted I would be wife number 3. He’s fairly well off financially and very generous, but that wasn’t my reason for dating him. Initially, I adored him as a person. But here’s the problem he is ridiculously jealous. He is 19 years older than me, which I think contributed to his insecurities and he’s also pretentious. But the biggest problem is that he’s a racist. He is outwardly prejudiced towards Black men more so than any other group. He has made rude and inappropriate comments. Once when he thought I wasn’t listening. I over heard him using the “N” word with a few of his friends.

I am a half-white/half-hispanic male with a white girlfriend. My facial features don't give my hispanic side away, but my skin tone does. Her dad supports us, but her mom is trying in all her power to keep her daughter as far away from me as possible. We are both 19, by the way. I find it unfair that her mom forbids her to date anyone that isn't white. She boasts loudly of high family violence rates in biracial marriages (I have tried to research this, and I have found nothing to support that , allegedly, 85% of Hispanic males beat their White partners). Her problem is mostly of "racial purity", as she stated that I could treat her daughter like gold (which i do), and she still would not approve. I, however, can not speak a lick of Spanish, and have no ties to the culture whatsoever, and I don't identify myself with a race other than "human". I am starting a journalism project about this, and I want your opinions on biracial relationships. My opinion? Your skin is not your brain.

I babysit for a friend of mine,she has 3 kids (10,4,and 2 mo.)and I have 4(10,7,6, and 3 mo.)Originally she told me she was taking 12 weeks off after she had the baby,and the baby was due May 4,2006,wich would have been great cause,by then all the older kids would have been in school most of the time and I would have only had the 2 babies.(she is only paying me 140 dollars a week).However,she had the baby early(April13),and also went back to work at 8 weeks instead of 12.So now I have all 7 kids from 7am to 6pm mon.thru fri. and she still only pays me 140 a week.Not only that but I told her in May that I had to have July 5th off cause my baby has a dr. appt.she said that was fine,now she decided to only take half the day off,not even that she changed her schedule so on that day she is going in early(4:45am)
We have been friends for 15 years and I really don't want to piss her off,what should I do?
