Huh? Your question needs rewording. Are you asking if he will marry you soon or is he going to be married to someone else soon? (that's how it looks)
As to whether or not you will be together the rest of your lives?? Sad but true - the odds are against it. These days more marriages end in divorce than stay together. Why? That answer is complex and there are many reasons marriages fail.
False expectations may well be the biggest reason though.
- People think that lustful heat of a new relationship will last forever and it rarely does
- People marry blind to the faults of their partner and their relationship or think the other person will change (never marry someone hoping they will change...if you don't like them now..you won't later)
- People buy the Hollywood image that marriage is all passion and easy, and don't understand that even great relationships have boring parts and very stressful parts. They don't understand that marriages take work.
- Partners often take each other for granted after the "I dos," and stop putting forth the effort to please each other.
- Couples forget to talk about the business end of marriage up front. Things like how to manage money, dividing work around the house, and how to achieve common goals.
If you don't go into it with your eyes open and having discussed these issues, the odds are against you.
