I met this great guy who actually lives 5 houses away from me. He has been divorced for 1 year - he is still good friends with his ex-wife (they have 2 children together). We have been seeing eachother for just a few weeks but when I see him, I get butterflys in my stomach! I'm a single mom as well with one child. When is it the right time to say how you are feeling withou scaring him away?

seeing eachother for a few weeks? is that going out on dates? with eachother? hanging out together? is what i am guessing?! but you know what..you dont want to come on too strongly with him if you to arnt that serious with eachother just yet..if you're on a friendly level and just hanging out and dating..maybe u will want him to come out with his feelings first. i know you might have the itch to say how you feel..but maybe for a little while its best to see how things flow before you start poring your heart out to him..some guys dont like that..and you dont want to regret saying how you feel to him and you DO scare him away..guys like the chase and they dont like a female to come on too strong..make sure you know what he wants out of a relationship and what he's looking for before you jump into everything head first. you'd regret scaring him away..wouldnt u? so just sit tight for a while..enjoy the way things are going..if it makes you feel any better..write how u feel on a piece of paper as if you're going to give it to him..but just keep it in your drawer..keep it to yourself..it at least makes you keep it off your chest. the time will be right to tell him how you feel when you dont even think about when or how you should tell him..the time will be right when it just happends..you know what im saying? good luck?! hope i helped..

Not yet, because with the butterflies in your stomach that tells me that you are just excited about the new relationship and with him. Don't jump the gun and let him know how you feel yet. Just enjoy the relationship and and everything will happen the way it should be. He will know how you feel. You are in love. Good luck to you.

Start slow. Say you're developing feelings for him or really like him. That will open the door for him to share his feelings. Don't get all hung up on what to say when. Just show your love, let it blossom and things will work out right.

Guys move alot slower than women.I would be calm and cool and get to know him alittle better. I personally would wait until he says something and when, and if he does, again, play it cool. you can tell him how you feel but don't get too crazy, too fast ,if its meant to be it will happen.

Nothing like dating and raising kids and melding familys to make life more well , interesting? You are brave I'd just focus on raising my kids becuase they have little to no dad.

mmm good q. I would say you should wait for him to say it first. Men need to feel in control - it strokes their egos and they appreceate you more. Give it time =) good luck
