My husband recently lost his job. He was unhappy there. He decided to pursue his dream of building computers. I encouraged him focus on that instead of getting a crappy job as a temp thing so he would be able to dedicate himself to finding this job. Here's the kicker. He has a criminal record and its coming back to haunt him. He was rejected for several different positions. In fact he got a job with IBM and the day before he was supposed to start they called and said they didn't need him due to his record. Now HE has to deal with his record is starting to get depressed. Last night he told me he was giving up & no one was going to hire him. He wanted to help support me and get a crap job. I told him that if he wanted to get a part time job to help out might not be a bad idea. But not to give up looking for a job he wanted to do. He said no. Now I want to be a supportive wife. I'm willing to wait it out so he can be happy. How do I encourage him to not give up?

for little little things she cries she has no patience at all she is not stubborn.from day one when she is born she is crying .first she used to cry every 15 minutues sometimes whole day.it went till she bcame 3, after that it reduced down to 50% . she is not freewith everyone .she does not make friends she has stage fear too.

When you have a boyfriend and you go over to his house and you two go into his room, and he shows you a condom of this girl hw had sex with for the first time...does this turn you off? mine did and he showed me, I was turned OFF. I thought it was pretty gross. i didn't care what he previously did wiith his past girlfriends...I think its a turn off.

Ok. My ex broke up with me coz of his mother didnt like me and he was too weak to stand up to her. But our relationship was great besides the fact that he DID THAT. So, to move on - i need to accept what was good, and forget what was bad- but i CANT. im so angry at him. someitmes i think that if i saw him i would beat him up- ok not LITERALLY- but thats how hurt i am . and i know htat in order to move on i need to forgive him and realize hes not a bad guy- because hes not- hes just weak like putty. any help??

How do you know if a guy is worth your wait? I mean I am well was well am I don’t know. But anywho I am talking to him and one day things are great and the next day its like nothing happened. When we are together we are very touchy and showing how much we care about each other and kissing and everything. We let people know we are together. But then he turns around and doesn’t call for 2 days, and I know I can call him but he said he would and if he doesn’t care enough to call me when he says he is going to how do I know he cares at all? My brother is married to a very controllingwife. He has not even called/spoken to my parents in over a year. He doesn't call on mothers/fathers day and no longer sees my children whom he was extremely close to before he was married. I mostly feel terrible for my parents who are older now and were always devoted parents. My brother told my mom (before he was married) that his wife needs people to fuss over her and why can't (my mom) just make a fuss over his (bride). My mom is very loyal but we are not people that generally make a fuss over others. My mom would invite them over and be cordial and pleasant but most of her time now is spent taking my dad to doctor visits, etc. His wife was very petty around the wedding. (she is 40). My brother told me I was not accepting of his wife. When i asked what I did he said I never ran up to hug his wife at their engagement. By the way - sister in law's father never saw his family again also once he got married. How do I help my parents?

Last night my husband and I got into an arguement. About two months ago he lost his job and has been looking for another one. Sort of. He has been taking his sweet time doing it. He only applies for things maybe once or twice a month. He got depressed because two places rejected him. I thought most people got rejected by tons of places before they found a job. He is looking for a job in computers but has very little practical experience. I approached him about this taking so much time. Even if he has to get a part time job just to get out of the house and help the income a little while he looks for a better one. I can't support us forever. The bills are already starting to pile. He's just been kinda goofing off. It was ok for a while. I did that a little when I was out of a job. But its old. When I talked to him about it he got all depressed and slept on the couch. This morning he wouldn't get out of bed. Did I really screw up? Should I just have let him do it his way?
